Curry had multiple open shots in the 4th. Missed all of them. I know he’s tired, but he’s got to find a way to hit 1. VanVleet killed us too.

I've thought it for a long time, but today cemented that we should not give Green the max.

Offseason hot takes started immediately I see.

Not really, I've thought it for a long time. Draymond's bad decision-making is increasingly outweighing everything else. His game will not age well either, losing any shooting touch he had already.

Let someone else give him a max deal.

Took the perfect storm for us to lose this series. I think it took some games for Cousins to get his legs under him, but once he could contribute we were the better team with or without KD. Two games we lost it's like we threw them by keeping Klay out.

I don't really think that's fair. They played who was in front of them and won, that's not their fault. Yeah, they got lucky with all our injuries, but legit championship, no asterisk.

Won by 15 and should be a Game 7.
Before getting injured in Game 5 of the 2019 Western Conference semifinals, Durant averaged 34.2 points on 51.3% shooting (41.6% from 3-point range), 4.9 assists and 5.2 rebounds. :banghead:

Tell me what other team could lose 2 of their top 3 scorers and still have a shot to win it at the end?

Underrated in all the discussion of this series was how effective Gasol is trapping and helping on the perimeter. I would give him the finals MVP for slowing Steph down.

So Kerr finally decided not to double team Kahwi in Game 6?

Man what an unfair ending, we would've won that in all likelihood if not for yet another potentially devastating injury. Just awful, but props to the guys for fighting until the end.

Look everyone said only health could stop this team and it did, there are no suprises.

I know it's frustrating when there isn't someone to blame (injuries) but I don't see how you can just pick apart individual performances trying to assign blame. This Klayless team doesn't get past Houston, they did the best they could.

Not to take anything away from the Raptors, but before the series started I really just wanted to see if our guys - all of our guys - could match-up with all of their guys. Especially wanted to see the KD vs Kawhi match-up. I still think we could have beaten them if both teams had all their guys but now we will never know and this series will always be one of those "what could have been" things. Just wasn't meant to be.

But I think Klay definitely earned that max contract tonight. Hoping his knee injury isn't serious and that he will be OK by the start of next season.

we would have destroyed Gasol if Kd was there.

Really proud of these guys, but it does feel like a definitive end of an era. Offseason will be interesting.

Yup, he was in full Klay Game 6 Mode, it was going to be a massacre. Danny Green and his dated faux-hawk can eat a dick.

The Oracle PA guys should start playing the wrap it up music so that Steph can address Oakland to say goodbye

Draymond is surrounded by guys that don't want to shoot except Steph who was trapped in a box all night. He's a top-3 defender and if we don't give him the money, we can't give it to anyone else.

You're emotional and not thinking straight.

What happened to the zone?

And curry needs to pick and roll when they switch.
Oh well he had a good look. Could’ve changed everything.
But honestly, we probably wouldn’t win game 7 with klay and Durant out.
