Raptors get zero credit from me. Not after what Green did to Klay.

At the end of the day, I feel our guys gave everything they had essentially running on no gas, bad tires and the brakes were shot.

Take next year to regroup and recover, and come back strong in 2020-21.

we would have destroyed Gasol if Kd was there.

He nerfed Curry every time we played them in the regular season too. He’s a phenomenal positional defender for a plodding big. He knows how to affect a ballhandler on the perimeter with no fear of being embarrassed. Boogie needs to get in the lab watching how Gasol pressures the ball.

Can't blame Green or anybody, it was just unfortunate.

It sucks loosing this way.
Too much misfortune with injuries.
Hope kd and klay can fully recover and get the ring these guys deserved next year.

Way too much adversity to overcome. I first thought it was over when KD first went down, but they just wouldn't have it. It really was over when Klay went down. Steph had a great look, but he's exhausted. And even if he does hit, it would have been almost impossible to take game 7 without Klay.

Our guys are the absolute best there is. Warriors always. They'll be back.

His turnovers hurt, but come on, the dude had 11 points on 5-10 shooting, 19 rebounds, 13 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. That has to be one of the best Finals lines ever. Not saying he can't be better but he's not the reason we lost. I mean I don't see anyone saying trade Steph because he can't hit a clutch shot and also turned the ball over late in the game.

that FT's killing us tonight
Before getting injured in Game 5 of the 2019 Western Conference semifinals, Durant averaged 34.2 points on 51.3% shooting (41.6% from 3-point range), 4.9 assists and 5.2 rebounds. :banghead:

Yeah, if they made it to Game 7, it was gonna be a blowout. I mean who do you tape up and put in the lineup?

The year after. We need some rest. These guys have played an extra season worth of basketball over the last five years. We should do a San Antonio special and fake a couple of more injuries with KD down for the year and steal a lotto pick. Reload and then scorch the **** earth for the rest of Steph’s career.

yeah i get the same feeling too, like this is the end of that historic run for us. sounds really weird, but i'm fine with that last game no matter the loss, they played their asses off for one last time, it just wasn't enough at the end. of course it sucks, but you can't come out at the top all the time, especially when you have to fight against all these injuries. seeing looney playing hurt, klay fighting through that hamstring and not even mentioning it once, KD coming back and trying to help us (too soon maybe)...that's pure heart, and i'm fine if that run ends like that.

as you said, this offseason will be really interesting, and i'm ready for whatever. if the FO decides to shake things up, fine, if they take another shot with that core (that's what i would prefer tbh), no problem, we were on the edge of winning it all again this year, so that team can't be THAT bad.

Draymond has 8 turnovers but he has a triple double, played great defense and has the 4th best plus minus after Klay, McKinnie and Jerebko.

Blaming Draymond is stupid.

Samurai wrote:Not to take anything away from the Raptors, but before the series started I really just wanted to see if our guys - all of our guys - could match-up with all of their guys. Especially wanted to see the KD vs Kawhi match-up. I still think we could have beaten them if both teams had all their guys but now we will never know and this series will always be one of those "what could have been" things. Just wasn't meant to be.

But I think Klay definitely earned that max contract tonight. Hoping his knee injury isn't serious and that he will be OK by the start of next season.

Meh, I don’t think there’s any doubt at all that we would have won with both teams healthy. That’s what’s most frustrating about all the GB “not as bad as ‘15” takes. Healthy Warriors in ‘15 were better than healthy Cavs — at the very worst, dead-even, as ‘16 suggested.

Other than the turnovers and gamble on Siakam, Draymond was alright. Wasn't his best but he was alright.

Lol Kawhi must be the weakest finals MVP since Iggy I can remember. His team carried him in these finals except for game 4. He has been kinda ass, probably injured but he was not finals MVP deserving.

8 brain dead turnovers? That is not something that is alright or should ever get a pass.
