Kerr should flip the minutes for Steph next season

Sit him in last 4 min of 3rd and play him in the entire 4th Q.
Before getting injured in Game 5 of the 2019 Western Conference semifinals, Durant averaged 34.2 points on 51.3% shooting (41.6% from 3-point range), 4.9 assists and 5.2 rebounds. :banghead:

Steph with the classic 6-17 and 3-11 from 3pt. And tack on that one miss to the 0-7 in the clutch in the playoffs

To be fair 3 of those shots were full court heaves.

Steph must be kicking himself. A 3 to win vs the cavs and a 3 to push it to 7 against the raptors. Narrative defining.

I’m proud of everyone though( except Kerr), even when they messed up. Showed heart ever since Durant went down against the rockets.

I don’t think we lost because of the final play. But the final play was stupid and is the same error for the whole season.

Down 1. 8 seconds to go. Full time out to call a play. Kerr and Curry went for another 3.

I’ve been saying the same thing all season (and last season). 3 has more points. But 2 had a higher percentage. I’d take an extra 3-5% for the ball to actually get into the bucket than a 3.

3 is good. But it is not your only option.

To be even fairer, he was double teamed past the perimeter more than any other player in history. The NBA has adjusted to Steph and the game plan is to make him a passer now, it's smart, but now the move from the Warrios brass is counter the shat outta that next season.

2016 all over again...this time we are even more difficult to counter is because of lack of depth. I wouldnt blame Kerr though Curry does not want to shoot the ball from start of the game

Its Kerr job to create plays and to say what to do. If he use him like Reddick than its his fault.

Taht last play wasn't the greatest either, didn't need to go for a 3 and the inbound pass wasted some seconds too.

Anyways, I just remembered how Looney got hurt. And then in game 5, Lowry undercut him on a rebound attempt, another shady tactic, he always finds himself under the basket and he backs into taller players going for the rebound.

Raptors were coached to be physical with the Warriors players and basically the refs let them be physical.

He needs to be reliable at the corner three and he needs to spend all summer dribbling a basketball wherever he goes. He should get in Steph him pocket and do everything Steph does to train all summer long.

His goal should be MIP in 2020

His on ball defense also needs a lot of work.

i think he should be blamed on the defensive side. Kawhi was a non factor in the series and we still trap him and got eveyone going. He was great at developing strategies but terrible at in game adjustment.

I don’t know why curry didn’t pump fake and dribble in for an easy two. My favourite players but just so disappointing. Seems like he will never get the due he deserves after tonight. Sigh

Anyways just wanted to pop in to say what a heck of a 5 year run you guys had. The heart of a champion was on full display tonight. You all should be proud of each and every single player out there that laid it on the line. Congrats dubs fans, you’ll be back. Just not next year, it’s the lakers year ;)

This roster is in a very precarious position right now. I would hate to be Myers right now.

Nonsense. We are perfectly positioned with several year long rehab projects to coast to a 23 win season next year and a top 5 pick. We dodged a bullet figuring out that Boogie doesn’t fit, even if he gets his body right. Klay and KD will become blood/weed brothers during their rehab years and both will sign long term extensions.

I have a bridge to sell you if you think any of that happens.

Curry missed one shot which would erase all the misses tonight.

Even the power of the Maggette jersey couldn’t over come that Klay injury. Such a **** way to lose a series.

It was a great 5 year run. This is probably the end but I enjoyed every second of it.

Hopefully Klay is alright.

Yeah, I hate that. Our inability to get an easy 2 when that’s all we need is disturbing, especially since our opponents are loading up on the 3 point line. Even when Steph is on it’s like a 40% shot, that’s terrible when you don’t need 3.

Fact that they haven't said makes me nervous.

It doesn't take a lot of time to diagnose knee injuries. They have a good idea what it is but maybe they don't want to announce it now.

Is it because it's bad news?

Or are they like not trying to rain on Raptors' parade because it is serious?
