Post#1 » by Celtics_Champs » Fri Jun 14, 2019 6:13 pm

Lets see how you think this team will be built.

Not your dream rosters. The roster you truly think will come.

Winner gets a high five.

Go!

Rozier, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Horford, Baynes, Smart. Basically last year's team without Morris and Kyrie.

Given Klay's injury last night, I think a James Harden trade is likely off the table next year unless Houston suffers a major injury. Rockets may want to go for it one last time.

If that is the case, Ainge needs to go for it or encourage Horford to leave.

A go for it move doesn't have to include Irving or Davis.

It could include someone like Draymond Green.... Warriors may not do it but they have to consider trading him at this point given Green's age and possible contract demands after next season.

Warriors could really benefit from cost controlled contributors/picks to restock.

Can I just not comment? I'm fairly confident we go into a mini-rebuild and that sucks so much.

Kyrie is gone and AD isn’t coming here.. It’s time to lower expectations as a fan base and embrace watching these young dudes grow. Watching Gordon regain form slowly. It’s no longer “banner 18 or bust”.

Amen. We already know how Danny operates. He won't make a reckless move that could potentially leave the franchise with nothing. Kyrie really didn't seem happy here, esp. in the 2nd half of the season. The way he talks about being around family and friends points to him playing in Brooklyn.

DA will compile a championship-contending roster this off-season...

There is a possibility that Rozier is back.

I will be surprised if Morris is back because I know he will be looking for a big payday and will be out of our price range. The only way he is back is for a sign and trade at a later time.

If the AD thing doesn’t happen, which is likely it won’t, predicting this roster right now is premature.

The draft hasn’t even happened, so we don’t know who we are drafting, or even keeping the picks for that matter.

Ainge and Wyc will be looking to improve the team, so there will be a trade or two for impact players, maybe not all stars but impact player or two.

The way I look at it, Kyrie leaving is increasing expectations.

How low is langford going ? I thought he would be top 5 in the draft.
And how easy is it to get conley ? What kind of trade for that?
I like this team. Langford and williams have a lot of potential and well you have brown and tatum there. It could be soemthing interesting.

Langford is not going in the top 5. There’s a lot of small forwards in this draft.
