Asterisk.

And please accept my condolences for your team failing to win a game without Durant in the lineup.

Injuries are part of the game. You deal with it.

All these faceless types trying to take away meaning from a title.. gonna let you in on a little secret: the rings still count, the fans get to celebrate their team making it to the top, and your pettiness doesnt make your team any better

This is surreal man. I joined this board at a low point in Raptors basketball after VC was traded.

To go from there to where we are now is unbelievable. I love this board. I love you guys.

Raptors Nation, we did it. Unreal.

I’m confused. Didn’t they win Game 2 without Durant and had a double digit leads 2-3 times (including in the 3rd quarter) in Game 5 after Durant went down?

They also lost Game 6 by 1 point before the “no timeout” tech and meaningless FT’s that prolonged the end of Game 6. This was without Durant and Klay missing the end of the 3rd and entire 4th quarter. Warriors almost pushed this to 7 with Durant playing 12 minutes in the series and Klay missing a game and two 4th quarters. They fought hard and deserve some credit for going down fighting.

Raptors were the better team but the Warriors were resilient in the face of the most horrific injury combo in Finals history.

edit: Didn’t realize post was regarding Rockets’ series.

My mistake. I didn’t read the previous related posts to gain full context. Ignore my post above then.

Haven’t gotten to post yet that I’m so happy for Kyle Lowry winning a championship, and for killing it in the series. Lowry is one of my favorite players.

Congrats 2019 NBA Champs Raptors.....

They beat them at their game.

No, this was not an asterick on their title.

GS was depleted.

Happy for Ibaka, Gasol, Lowry as those guys waited long enough. Also, Kawhi is the man. Hope he stays, Clipps aren't good enough to contend for the next few years.

Raps had a nice mix of vets and young guys, cool team to watch. Caught GS at the right time but that is sports.

Would like to see NBA move to a 60 game regular season but it'll never happen because of $$$$.

I just wonder if there will be a statue of green injuring klay, sponsored by the fine folks of Toronto who showed their sportsmanship when kd went down. Time will tell..
