What are they giving up in that deal? Seems like RP is going to force him to the Lakers.

If Kawhi leaves and they get back OG, I think they will still be in the thick of things in the east. Their overall win % this year was 70.7%. They were 17-5 in games Kawhi didn't play which is a 77.27% win %.

Obviously he's huge for the playoffs, but Pascal probably gets better along with Van Vleet and getting OG back. I don't think you tear down a team like that...after a championship...trade the heart of your team like Lowry. Now maybe after next year since all those guys expire.

I guess you never know with Masai though..maybe he figures he gets something from Lowry, Serge and Gasol in their last years, but it would be kind of weird to just completely break up a championship team.

I'm not 100% Masai is back himself the Wizards are rumored to be offering him part ownership in the team- along with a ton of money. I agree it would be weird to tear it all down but does anyone think they're really doing anything if Kawhi leaves? Besides they just bought themselves a ton of goodwill with their fans, they can do whatever they want and still be cool with their fans.

I hope Kawhi comes back btw I don't think any of us wants him in LA plus I wanna see these 2 teams run this back again next year with a fully healthy Klay.

I want Kawhi to go to the Clippers. I want him to have the mentality, that if he goes to the clippers he will take Lebron's crown as the king of LA. Would love to see him join the Clippers. and have Butler go there as well!

While it'd be nice to see Lebron fall I care more about the suns rising and that happens easier if Kawhi Leonard is playing basketball in the eastern conference.

What if this is New Orleans master plan?

Agree to AD trade in principle with LA.
LA sign max FA this summer like Butler in anticipation of AD trade.
LA lose max cap space next summer to sign AD
AD trade value increases and Boston feels comfortable sending Tatum.

I feel like we'll have an answer one way or another by draft time. I mentioned this in the trade forum but Denver should look long and hard at AD. Murray, Harris and MPJ would get it done and beat any LAL deal easily. Then you have AD and Jokic making the most unstoppable front court in league and the easy favorites in the west.
Oh yeah IF the Lakers get AD this summer it will happen in the next couple of days so the pels can make that pick.

I 100% agree Denver should make a run at him.

Really hope the lakers dont get him. This is garbage what rich paul is pulling. As for Denver that'd be such a fun team to watch lol. Especially if IT can be even 75% of what he was in Boston

Backcourt would be thin though. I guess they'd go with Morris and Barton. I like them both but not much after that. Also if Barton played 2, that leaves the 3 pretty thin...Torry Craig. You'd still have Beasley at 2 and Hernangomez at 3 but still pretty thin overall for 1 year of AD...and then losing Murray, Harris and Porter, Jr for good.

I think they'd still have 10ish million left so they can grab some back court help. They'd probably get some ring chasing vets I'd imagine. It'd be a gamble for sure-but the raps just proved the scared money dont make money.

Gallo would actually need to be included for $$$$ so he would be off this . They do have room to sign 2 max contracts. Suns should jump in

Clippers trade : Gallo, SGA, Harrell
Clippers Get: AD

Suns trade : Jackson, #6, Milwaukee 1st
Suns Get: SGA

New Orleans Trade: AD
New Orleans Gets: Gallo, Harrell, Jackson, #6, Milwaukee 1st

I don't want to erase this, but after looking it over. That package for New Orleans is not that great.

Are you laughing at Griffin?

I think that is a solid return. Lavine is damn good. Kuzma ain't bad either. #7 still gets you a good prospect. Plus you are getting another unprotected pick! Hart ain't bad either. Kuzma, Lavine, and Hart are solid players to add to Zion and Jrue.

We can't beat that deal.

And honestly, it's the Bulls who get hosed here. Lavine is a lot to give up to move from #7 to #4.

I wonder if Philly would consider taking Goran in a S&T if the alternative is losing for nothing to a cap space team. Goran for a year kind of makes sense with that roster. Do that and keep Harris and they are a contender in the East.

That feels like a ton to give up if you're Miami. Honestly I'd rather have Richardson than Butler considering contract and age.

Anyone have an idea what this might mean? Only reason I ask is the #shhh hashtag which was also posted on the Suns twitter with a picture of Oubre.

He uses the #shhh on like every instagram post (which is a wild place when he posts) so wouldn't read anything into it.

He's probably just baked posting some stuff he thinks sounds cool. :)

Him posting it on his own is one thing, but the official Suns twitter posting it randomly with no context?

Yup. Rich Paul is working for the Lakers at this point. He could care less about his other clients, Lebron is the one who made him and what Lebron wants Lebron gets. Rich Paul already floated the idea out that Davis would only stay with LA, but teams wernt listening. Rich Paul then goes a step further and straight out tells teams that Davis WILL leave after the season.....and teams still wernt listening and inquiring about Davis. Rich Paul then goes on ESPN and straight up tells the world that Davis will leave in FA and he warned everybody, so if your team trades for him and gives up valuable assets for him to leave a year later, thats on your team and your GM and is no way his (Rich Paul) or Davis's fault.

Also heard that Lebron is giving Davis a paid role on his Space Jam 2 movie......which probably hinges on him being a Laker. Just another way to pay Davis more money than he can get legally from other teams.

We've already agreed to a handshake deal with Oubre.

We lowballed him first, but we quickly came up in price. Now he's fired up.

If we draft Culver and play him at point darn with Culver Booker and Oubre that would be the greatest looking backcourt in the history of the league.

Still too little.

If the Bulls are going to be the 3rd team, this is what i see:

Lakers get Davis. Bulls get Ball/Hart/Future 1st. Pelicans get LaVine/Ingram/Kuzma/#7.

Bulls were already reportedly interested in Ball for their pick. Lakers give them a future 1st to do so with the inclusion of LaVine while also giving them Hart. Bulls would also clear up capspace as they would be taking back almost $11M less that they can use in FA. Pelicans get a better 3SUM and the Bulls 1st in a bad draft. Lakers walk away with the KLUTCH 3 of Garland/Lebron/Davis.

Agreed . Are you in contact with Ray Ray , Traxxe or Dirty Bird or just kind of hoping about Oubre.
