Tank! Please. The sooner we accept that's the only way to go, the better.

I don’t but I can guess. At least 10 million/year. Maybe even a long term deal around the 3/36 or 4/48 side. Seems teams have a lot of space this year so more wouldn’t surprise me. Also I would t be surprised if he tries to tag onto a good team at the MLE.

He acknowledged they work in theory, but he believes that teams won't choose to deal with the delays and complications they entail.

Also of note, the receiving team is hard capped. In the DAR for Kyrie fantasy both teams would be hardcapped.

D Russell is one of the most under the radar big time FAs that I can think of. This guy is about to step into his prime and there is very little talk of him around the league.

Maybe some think last season was a fluke, I guess.

I would def take him, but I don't see a pathway. If I were the Knicks, I would def offer max money to him.

Conley / Brown / Tatum / Horford / Baynes
Smart / Matthews / Hayward / Ojeleye / Williams

Memphis would have to trade Conley for Yabusele, #14, and their own pick back. Nothing else lol.
Horford would have to agree to play for the tax MLE lol.
Matthews (or whoever) signs for the BAE.

I know he is restricted but Malcolm Brondon would be the most under the radar pick up someone could make. He seems legit

Does the salary work in that deal? Also, I think it's either Memphis or 14, not both

Fit Conley into cap space. No need for salaries to match. We'd have to renounce all our FAs.
I think it's too light if it's only their own pick back without a young prospect coming their way.

This is not an option. People need to stop suggesting it.

Chase after Kemba in FA. Keep all assets. Again, Horford has to sign for the MLE lol.

If you do any of these ideas where we renounce everyone and make deal with capspace, do we lose ability to use exceptions after?

Ooh, that's right. We can only use the room exception. So yeah, scrap the idea. Not that Horford was gonna go for MLE.

Nothing under the radar about him. Every podcast I listen and every article I read fans and bloggers are talking about their team offering him a big deal. Him and Dedmon.

DLO is young and has a lot of potential but I’m willing to bet a lot of fans here who kill kyrie would HATE russell after a year. His shot selection is horrible- can shoot you out of as many games as he wins you.

I know the thought- all the kyrie scoring ability without all the kyrie drama. “He’s young enough to learn how to play D” I’m telling you the fan base would turn on him within 18 months just as quickly.

I hate DLo already. Stay away, Danny. Not that there's a realistic path to get him here anyway. He's Kyrie -2.0.
