Anyone saying this was dumb for NOP is out of their freaking mind. It was an awesome deal for them! They could look something like this next year

Garland/Ball
Holiday/Moore
Ingram/Hart
Williamson
Randle/Okafor

Instant rebuild and they could even get younger if they traded Holiday for #6 and drafter Culver. That is probably the best rebuilding team in the league with 2 fresh rookie contracts.

This is a win-win trade for both teams.
Everyone knows I am not a Lakers fan but Ingram will be a star in this league.
I have no idea how good or bad Lonzo will be in future.
Hart might develop into a good role player but he will never play well under pressure.

Wow lot of FRPs for NO. I think they get a pretty nice haul. Lakers also get to compete and have a good chance in the west with KD and Klay being out.

West is gonna be a bloodbath for sure next year. I'm sure Portland and the Nugs will be right there again, and we have some dark horses too.

Zubac makes no sense with a team that has Zion. So I doubt they would've resigned him anyways. The added value in that pick is more than Kuzma's value.

They were ready getting the pick in Feb plus kuzma...now no kuzma...pels acted unprofessionally in February and they ended up getting less.

A trade in February could've displaced the Pelicans at the lottery from getting Zion. It's no telling if the Lakers finished 11th for the #4 pick as well

Who are we fooling. With GS out of their way, and a 2nd star in LA. Barring major injuries this teams going to the finals.

To think that ainge probably would have pulled the trigger if kyrie just said hed resign if AD was there.
