I have news for Knicks fans; you are not entitled to get superstar free agents. The Knicks getting no one in free agency is no different than the other 25 teams not getting a superstar.

I agree, I still want to sign KD to the max and do exactly what you said. And if we don't get KD, then just build through the draft, like you said. The media portrays Knicks fans as impatient but the reality is, we want to build slowly and have home grown talent

Adding barret is a great building block

What do you exactly like about DSJ and Knox? Knox may be mentally slowest (is that pc?) player in the nba. He's like a high end gaming laptop running windows 98.

DSJ has inspired zero confidence in the nba court.

I agree Robinson looks blue chip to me, great find. But Barrett might be 50/50, he kind of reminds me of Brandon Roy/Harden type but he just doesn't have to shooting or the off hand. Kid can get his shot, but can he efficently make it is the question.

I wouldn’t say they are screwed. As long as they don’t lock themself up in a long term contract with mediocre players and build through the draft until it makes sense to spend on a star. Unless a draft pick become a star. They’ll be fine... if they don’t max out players like Middleton and butler lol. But who knows, history repeats itself all the time

Nah you can’t lump 25 other teams in with the knicks. The Knicks are in a very small group at the bottom. It’s sad what their fan base does to themselves every year. There’s always something huge that’s just going to show up for free. And then surprise when it works.

Knicks should be looking at it like they are a few years behind the Lakers at trying to acquire some lottery talents and then maybe a trade or free agent can come once you have something.

From the beginning, I was against this free agency plan and I was against trading assets for AD. The Knicks are simply not ready, so we need to build patiently through the draft, draft well and put together a core of homegrown players that could be enticing to free agents down the line.

Thankfully, Scott Perry didn't just trade KP for cap room but also got DSJ and two first round picks in return.

Long-term, this could be a blessing in disguise for the Knicks. Missing out on Zion hurts the most, but other than that, I'm cool.

The only difference between the Lakers and Knicks is the Lakers had Lebron. Knicks would've easily made a trade for AD had KD not gotten injured. That KD injury changed a lot
