Only thing that stops Lakers from making the playoffs is a major injury to Lebron or AD

Even if you don’t like the raptors it must be refreshing to see a team win it without stars clamouring to play for them and that team going for every big free agent name every year.

Calm down, bro.

They better pray Rondo and Lance won't be back. People don't seem to realize how much Rondo especially hurt the Lakers last year with his inefficient ball dominance, garbage defense, and terrible fit next to LeBron.

they better bring javale back

You have Kawhi as you avi. Stop talking about AD being injury prone while having that avi.

The difference being, and maybe it's just a subtle one, is that Kawhi is a two time champ and Finals MVP, while AD has never made it past the second round of the Playoffs.

We missed the playoffs mostly due to the saga that was the trade talks (look at our post deadline record, its horrific).

I don't think we're going to get the same poor roster construction, i'm expecting shooters and a lot of them.

Both Lebron and AD teams were lotto this year. It really depends on how they fill out the roster but there isn't much there. I am not as sold on Lebron as this board is the decline is real

They are still not a lock to make the playoffs, the FA is going to be a huge factor and it will also depend who the Lakers are able to get. AD also loves to miss his is 18-19 games each year and Lebron is going to meet father time at age 35 for sure.

Clippers getting Kawhi (and maybe Butler)
Mavs get Kemba
Kings get Vuce (and are ultra deep)
Lebron and AD missing 10+ games....

And then they are out of the playoffs...so yeah it COULD happen.

and as many Raptors fans have learned this season, the journey to a championship is very tasking mentally and physically. AD hasn't proven that his body can last for 20+ playoff games, which is needed to win a championship. Kawhi has done it twice already.

NOP had a terrible medical staff, but these things never get looked at below the surface

Yea it's in the cards. The West isn't getting worse and if Lebron goes down for any number of games, Davis has shown he can't put a team on his back and carry them.

Keep in mind LA still have lots of cap space and a new coach. They'll be a Top 4 seed at worst, but I say Top 2.

At most, they will likely win next year is 43 games, which isn't enough for the western conference.

With LBJ+AD missing less than 30 games - NO WAY they missing playoff!

I doubt they miss the playoffs. However I'm not sure how it's all going to look.

Lebron's going to be 35 by the playoffs, AD's prone to missing games. Lebron's the descending Alpha, AD's mostly green when it comes to the post season. Is AD capable of leading them in a deep playoff run, I'm not sure yet.

They'll be a top 3 or top 4 seed and won't make the Finals.

It’s more likely the win the entire championship. You need to pause for half a second and think just how DOMINANT LeBron James and Anthony Davis will be on the court at the same time. Best 1-2 punch we’ve seen since Kobe Shaq and that includes Durant-Curry and James-Wade.
