Am I the only one that thinks Delon should not get a ring, since he was the only one to request a trade?

I think jv doesn’t deserve a ring if Delon doesn’t get on if we win

I'd do it. lol

You have to be a good defender now to be in the raptors rotation...the team has a new identity

The main difference about this Raptors team is defense and shooting; things Demar actually cannot do.

Nah, he requested a deal to get more Playing time in a very respectful manner. Wasn't a distraction and played hard in the minutes he did

Him JV CJ all helped us get here, they deserve it

It has been several hours & DeRozan has yet to publish a message on Twitter/Instagram about Raptors' NBA Championship title.

Guess he's still angry of what happened last summer.

This doesn't surprise me and I don't hold it against him. Think about it from his perspective. Would you wish your former employer who fired you a congratulations for having a strong end of year profit?

Leave these guys alone man, they don't need to be congratulating us minutes or a few hours after. Stop being like the annoying paparazzi. Let it be.

He wasn't exactly fired. It is more like he got moved from a department of the company to another against his will.

Still, you are right, it's absolutely normal. Few people if any, in his position, would be actually happy about it.

I don't blame him for being upset. He had to watch Kawhi show the fundamental ceiling to his entire career, and prove Masai right for moving on from him. It is an incredibly tough pill to swallow not just to have a team tell you that you are not good enough to be a core piece of a championship, but to be completely vindicated in everything.

I think people who were on the team to start the season are eligible, so DD is not but JV, Miles and Wright are eligible. I think the team has to vote.

Do you guys still have Nando de Colos NBA rights? Seems like he could return to the NBA. His net salary is 2,78 Million $. Would you guys even be interested in him at that price?

I heard Raptors no longer has his rights, he is decent SG, borderline NBA starter.

I personally am tired of media and others always attaching him to the Raptors’ success this season. He’s gone. Many of us wanted him gone. Many of us want him to remain gone. We thank him for what he did for the team, but it’s a new era. We are champs. DeRozan in my mind is in that group of former players that bring back bittersweet, if not negative memories.

I prefer him not commenting about us. He’s doing a good job so far keeping quiet. Now if the media gets the memo as well that would be great.
