At most, they will likely win next year is 43 games, which isn't enough for the western conference.

The force is weak with this one.

If both guys are healthy for at least 70 games, I think they will make it.
But it’s possible they don’t make it, LeBron will be an old 35 and is showing signs that age is catching up, A.D is injury prone player.

I could see LeBron playing 60 games and AD too.
That would make them vulnerable to missing the playoffs.

They still have a lot of work to do. Right now they have 2 superstars and trash.... but they also have room to sign a bunch of guys.

Health will also be important. AD is injury prone and Lebron is old

Calm down, bro.

They better pray Rondo and Lance won't be back. People don't seem to realize how much Rondo especially hurt the Lakers last year with his inefficient ball dominance, garbage defense, and terrible fit next to LeBron.

Yup. Luke should have been fired if he was the one wanting that though I doubt that it was he.

LeBron ON court, Rondo OFF

1,336 minutes, 2,835 possessions
Lakers’ ORtg: 113.2 (equivalent to 5th best offense)
Lakers’ DRtg: 107.5 (equivalent to 5th best defense)
NET: +5.8 (equivalent to 4th best rating)

Rondo ON court, LeBron OFF

766 minutes, 1,620 possessions
Lakers’ ORtg: 106.0 (equivalent to 27th best offense)
Lakers’ DRtg: 117.3 (equivalent to 29th best offense)
NET: -11.3 (equivalent to worst net rating)

What signs has he shown other than 1 injury. He was back to his own self a few games after coming back from injury. He is not 2015 LeBron but he is still good enough to be in discussion for best player in the league. He was top 3 in MVP conversation before the injury.

Pretty obvious that the NBA wants the Lakers in the playoffs. Don't forget that Durant/Thompson are out. Not to mention that the Lakers have cap space.

This was planned for quite sometime. The writing has been on the wall.

So according to you Raptors should not resign Kawhi either. Kawhi has played an average of 10 games less per season than AD since AD's rookie year.

WTF are you talking about? Where did I say anything like that?

Did you get mixed up with another post when replying?

Depends on health. If both Bron and ad can stay healthy, they will be pretty good

Not only that.. they’ll get Kemba. This is written on the wall. They can get some guys trying to ring chase.

AD's health is always a concern. Based on his career thus far.

They might not win the ship, but they sure as hell won’t miss the playoffs.

I have zero doubt that Kemba signs with the Lakers. Yet another planned event by LeBron/Klutch.

Why does the NBA pretend that they care about collusion?

west is stacked... lebron is going to be 35 and plays no defence... neither does kuzma. AD is injury prone. I would say its 50/50 lakers make the playoffs.

You would think to wait until free agency to declare this. Not like Caruso and Bonga are 2/5 of their starting lineup day 1. Depending on who they get, they are anywhere from 3-6 seed.

Jazz, Nuggets, rockets will probably make up 3 of the top 4. Blazers will be the same or better. Clippers same or better. Thunder is a wild card. Warriors depends on who they can get cheap that will be a difference maker for the time being.

Mavs and kings will improve. Wolves will be the same. Suns and Grizz probably bottom 2. Pelicans could be a mid 30s win team

So a majority of the teams in the west will be the same or better. Warriors fall down but still legit. Going to be a fun west.

Meh it’s fine. Titles are hard. Take them how you can get them.

Will Vogel utilize Pop’s load management strategy for his two stars?
