Let Brown and Tatum take the lead now that the circus left town. Tatum's disappearance was the biggest issue this year.
It's basically the '18 playoff team all over again.

Save cap space for when Hayward and Horford go off the books.

This is still a good roster built for the long haul.

When Hayward and Al expire we’ll have Brown and Tatum to take their salary places. The cap space is gone and replaced with a treadmill.

I detonate nothing. Smart/Brown/Tatum/Hayward/Horford is a good team. Let them play and if they have some success Celtic pride and chemistry will be flowing all over the place. Will need to get lucky with the MEM pick or something (like RWill becoming Capela-like) but don’t see why that couldn’t happen. Follow the gameplans of the Raps and Warriors — be patient and build.

I don't see Kemba turning down his supermax in Charlotte.

Can't believe that Ainge doesn't have plan B in action already. 18-3 I believe without Kyrie last year, they play better as team, all will be fine,

Beal would love to join his St. Louis native friend, JT.

Not sure I like this myself, but... and it's assuming Al & Gordon wanted to do it.

Hayward, Horford, Semi for CJ, Turner, Leonard, Collins.

Dame, Hayward, Hood, Horford, Nurk
Curry, Layman, Semi, Harkless, Aminu
Kanter? Picks,
MLE to a combo guard.

We have:
CJ, Jaylen, Tatum, Collins, Baynes
Smart, Turner, Leonard, Williams
MLE, picks

We're set for 1-3, Collins is a perfect big for Stevens system. Have expirings for deals later as needed.

What do we offer? He’s suddenly not so useless with GSW not having a death lineup anymore.

The fact that there's an outside chance of that Love/Rondo pair happening in Boston... in 2020... is amusing to me.

I'd rather see Horford go ring chasing if we aren't making some major moves. Guy deserves a championship, not sitting through a rebuild. Either make a move for Bradley Beal & some veteran role players, or go with a full-on youth movement.

You could even just take Harkless instead of CJ and get picks instead.

Hayward, Horford for Collins, Harkless, Turner, Leonard, Blazers 2020 (top 5 protected) & 2022 (lotto protected) firsts.
Blazers would be money with CJ back in there.

Dame, CJ, Hayward, Horford, Nurk
Curry, Layman, Hood, Aminu, Kanter
MLE, #27

That's a really, really good team.

We'd have:

Rozier, Jaylen, Tatum, Collins, Baynes
Smart, Turner, Harkless, Leonard, Williams
14, 20, 22, 51, Yabu

Plenty of movable guys at the deadline or before.
BOS, MEM, POR picks in the 2020 draft.

Just need to switch out Irving. I've said it in other threads, but I want Beal.

You guys would retain Morey back if that trade happened. I'm sure Fertita would probably Sue Morey personally as well.

Looks way too much my last year's team.

Kyrie is a Net, and someone will overpay for Morris.

Believe it or not this was my first thought. But the only salary we can send out is Hayward and I don't think Danny does it unless Hayward regresses even more and in that case I don't think the Cavs do that.

You gotta let Kyrie go, man. He gone. All signs point to Brooklyn.

Yep. Feel the same. Just need some rebounding and rim protection to assist Horfie. Defensively, we're already better without Kyrie. Add some shooting off the bench.
