That is Elite defensively and Elite in the fast break though.

However, it doesn’t make much sense to keep Jrue with that crew. Trade him for assets to package with the 4th and a future Laker 1st for Beal or McCullom.

Lonzo will be a good 3 point shooter, no doubt. I’m not sure about Ingram. I would look to sign a 3 point shooting big too for added spacing and you’re set.

Terrible trade for the Pelicans. They should have demanded Kuzma, Ingram, Hart, (Ball but a 3rd team to take him so they did not have to deal with the headache ) probably five 1st picks (but settled at 4). This year 4th and 3 other 1st round picks that likely will not be great.

1. They needed Kuzma he was the best young player on the team.
2. Ball is not good and comes with so much baggage, it's not what this team needs.
3. You had the Lakers behind the 8 ball, and multiple other teams who would kill the get AD. Fleece them!

ball and ingram weren't bastions of health either and davis has actually played in more games per season than either ball or ingram

I'd focus more on Derozan and Aldridge's health, as well as Murray's recovery. Anthony Davis has a solid track record of playing. Last season he was being held out on purpose.

I still like Ingram's potential, could very easily see him having a DLo type of breakout.

But no Hart is just a rotation piece and Ball is an athletic, lightskin Rubio who makes Blake Griffin look like an ironman when it comes to injuries.

History shows you never get full value for a traded star.

They got 6 pieces that may not be better than a FA in the coming years and are in that risky contract zone where they will have to pay inconsistant players long term deals.

Congrats to the Lakers. If this year has taught us anything, Superstars can win rings if put in the right opportunity. This is probably Lebron’s last shot at a title. Hoping both of them stay healthy and he gets a legit shot at one more run.

It was reported as 3 (1st's) & a future Pick swap. Ramona's report was wrong.
