I am glad for BI.

It must have been tough for him this season dealing with all the talk of him being traded for AD.

And then he appeared to turn the corner by posting all-star numbers after the all-star break, only to have the blood clot issue curtail his season.

If he is cleared from the blood clot issue I think he can be an all-star player. BI and Zion could make for an elite pairing.

But it's killing fans in middle America...the same organization lost two franchise players to LA. Probably going to lose a third.

That's a huge haul for Nola, great deal for them, capitalizing on the short-sighted Lakers looking to appease LeBron while he's still playing. Nah this is the case of a win win for both teams, for the lakers picks like that are really not very important, for a team like the pelicans they are crucial.

zion just got the best teammate in lonzo who can unlock him, they'll be fun in transition, though i see spacing issues in the half court
just don't think it's enough for AD but if boston didn't want to give up tatum, then this was probably the best offer
so you have a bunch of good blue chip starters, just need develop/find a star


for lakers,
i don't fear an AD lead side because he's not alpha enough but next to bron, you have a contender, prob is bron's age which shortens your window, after bron though you still have a peak AD and being that it's LA, there shouldn't be problem finding other stars to come play with him

despite the circumstances, any time you give up a future HOF at his peak, that's a loss in my books

Dude, this was a trade, bro. Man, if they sign another player, that's free agency, hombre. Dude, bro, cmon. What do you want LA to do, not TRY? I wish this were like the Heatles, Sir. We had to give up players and a bunch of picks, tho, I will say you never know how that crap's gonna work out. It's certainly within the realm of possibilities that NO gets a higher pick than LA, but winds up drafting a bust while LA gets a late gem. A draft pick is a pig in a poke/pie in the sky/2 birds in the bush.
