I’m waiting for Masai to find one of those Embiids walking around in Africa with the 59th pick.

I could see them sell the pick if they think they can get their guy as an undrafted FA but if Kawhi commits and we start to penny pinch again, I'll be pissed.

The Raptors made stupid money after these playoffs, they better go deep in the luxury tax if Kawhi commits.

Tacko Fall 7'7" C with an 8'4" wingspan would be hilarious if he panned out as a 3rd/4th big. 74th ranked prospect according to SI. I guess he'd have the biggest wingspan at that spot. He's definitely built for a different era though.

Simi Shittu as a Canadian? He was a 5 star HS prospect and an all-American, but is ranked 90th by SI now after his weak season coming off of a torn ACL and Vanderbilt's team performance. 6'10" 240lb PF

I know people think we need a SG, but I think adding to out big men depth ahead of an increasingly likely Ibaka or Gasol trade/retirement could be a good thing. Vet shooting can be found, and with Powell signed, we have a defensive SG if we need one.

Just sell the pick and sign Bradzeikis for 905.

BoyzNTheHood wrote:For everyone talking about SG's and huge wingspans, I've got one guy that fits into both categories. Talen Horton-Tucker. 6'4" with a 7'1" wingspan SG... and like I said in another thread about him he has Horton in his name so might as well start buying the jerseys already.

I like him too but I don't really see him making it to 59. We'd have to buy an early 2nd round pick at the least.

What is the difference between him and Powell? Maybe Powell is better?

Except he won’t be anywhere close to available when the raptors pick. Rumor is Atlanta likes him at number 17, he’s a local kid.

I actually think there are some decent role players available late. Masai knows what to look for in players this late, hopefully we get a player who can contribute during the regular season

The pick should always be best player available, regardless of the position.
