Could just be NO playing games to get us to trade up for culver at 4 instead of feeling confident at white at 6.
If pelicans take white at 4... we would have Garland available at 6 if the Cavs take culver.. and in that case I could see us getting good value for #6 in a trade scenario.
Suns got bigger plans than Coby White and Darius Garland and Culver
thats my theory and I am sticking to it
Jrue or bust?
A trade for Jrue looks reasonable right now with the latest trade. Pels are in full rebuild mode and they have a young pg in Ball. They need shooting and scoring from the wing. TJ Warren is a sweet match alongside Ball and Zion. A trade featuring Warren for Jrue as the core with other stuff from the Suns thrown in to even it out would make a lot of sense.

I don't know if its Jrue Holiday . It might be D'Lo Russell . First off, the idea of a Rookie PG on the Suns, even Ja Morant - never made sense to me. The Suns are a team ready to start moving forward - to me, a rookie PG (and I get SGA was very good for the Clippers) would have growing pains where a more veteran player would be able to help with the growthn of Booker, Ayton, Warren, Bridges, etc.
Second, the cap. The Suns are tight against the cap and using 5.5m ona rookie AND still signing a vet makes zero sense. Gambo talks about moving one or both of Okobo and Melton - thats only 2m of cap space. The idea of drafting a PG, signing a veteran and still getting a 4 means that Warren, Jackson and Johnson are probably gone - so how can your team improve that much. UNLESS - its for a REALLY good player.
I think Jones and crew are thinking big time player. But either way way, I don't think the Suns will be drafting PG with the pick. I think they trade back as a team wants maybe GArland and they look to Free Agency trades
