Kyrie is gone and AD isn’t coming here.. It’s time to lower expectations as a fan base and embrace watching these young dudes grow. Watching Gordon regain form slowly. It’s no longer “banner 18 or bust”.

Amen. We already know how Danny operates. He won't make a reckless move that could potentially leave the franchise with nothing. Kyrie really didn't seem happy here, esp. in the 2nd half of the season. The way he talks about being around family and friends points to him playing in Brooklyn.
I can't believe you guys are thinking Danny is pulling out of the AD thing.

If Danny doesn't make this trade, then he's no longer the best GM in the league, and I will accept that we simply are no longer a championship organization. Danny needs to get his guy, and I refuse to rationalize why he isnt doing out of loyalty, which is what I think you guys are doing.

So if Danny DOES trade Tatum for AD, you both will strongly disagree with him, and openly admit that you think he made a mistake, correct?

I'm of the opinion that if danny whiffs again for a leaving AD. (See kyries over pay 2 picks it, Jae and ante for what, the worst shooting % in a playoffs series in celtics history. ) that he is slipping as a gm. You don't sell the farm for a single dance with a pretty lady do you ? Same case. AD clearly doesn't want to be here. Plus AD without another super star is basically the pelicans, see how many times AD has gotten his team to the playoffs. I'm not interested in being a depleted team with no assets after AD leaves the year after. Sorry not sorry

I'm saying this because there's like a 2% chance this happens and if it does I will look like a genius. I'm not giving up the dream!!!

Tatum is not a PF and Horford is not a real Center. Hence why they’re looking at Capela.

I know. Just hope that Williams could be our rim protector and rebounder.

Good assessment:

I doubt Irving is back so probably Rubio(who has shown interest in the Celtics), Rondo, Conley via trade and I'm forgetting a few probably. Then Ty Jerome could make a lots of sense.

Too bad, Tony would have been perfect to give KI directions...

Walker or Conley
Tatum
Brown
Hayward
Horford

Would like Townes, DMC, Capella or Butler but we arent getting any of them. Not sure how we have no cap space, yet GSW can have 5 allstars with some major contracts. How can Fakers sign Lebron, now AD and be targeting Walker??

Let me try this again so my last attempt was a complete fail:

Rozier
Brown
Tatum
Hayward
Al

Bench: Smart, Baynes, Brandon Clarke (Gonzaga, 14). Semi, TimeLord, Carsen Edwards (Purdue, 20)

disclaimer: I reserve the right to swap in Ricky Rubio if Rozier gets an offer that we don't match but I don't think it's going to happen.

No predictions at this point, but what’s the over/under on the phrase ‘ham n eggers’ making a savage comeback on this board next season?

BannersOnly is rolling in his grave somewhere over how this season has turned out. I couldn't even look him in the face right now.

Definitely. Ironically, though, Banners loved the Jaylen pick right before he left. He was the guy that got everyone over their Murray, Bender, Dunn, Butler trade despair that draft night.
