I would assume the Lakers already made Rondo an offer

They have to rescind him if they want to max someone else out. Best they could offer would be the room exception. If we don’t go under the cap we will have Full MLE to offer.

I am clearly just assuming they told him to hold tight until they wrap some things up. Rondo isn't playing for paydays anymore, he takes what he can get

I bet he signs here one year for like 3 million bucks.

I think taking anything this seriously is sickening. Overreactions galore.

I saw this tweet earlier that leads me to believe some decent players will be available for cheap.

I feel a lot positive about this summer. This team without Kyrie is going to be a better TEAM for sure. Basically we are going to add Hayward into a line-up that was just minutes away from finals just a year ago. With the league becoming wide open again, sky is the limit.

It’s be awesome if we could add Jrue Holiday without losing Smart or Hayward but don’t think it’s possible. I think Hayward comes around.

I had to And1 this just because it was the funniest thing I've read all thread. I have no idea why but I'm laughing up tears right now.

Read on Twitter

Am I weird that for some reason I've always liked the idea of putting him next to Tatum, Brown and Smart? He can't play D worth a damn but he rebounds, He's athletic. He can run a break and pass. Starting to shoot it a little. This guy's been a guilty pleasure for a couple of years now and I wish I could quit him.

Nah I am with you. Would rather have him than Morris. He would certainly give us some toughness in the paint on offense. Something this team could use dearly.

He would be good next to Al. The questn is how much money is he expecting. Prob way more than what he declined in that option

Yup I would imagine he is looking to get a big deal from teams who strike out on major FAs. He’s the B tier and I think he gets a big deal.

Again, the TEAM got the first seed, and subsequently played the 8th and 4th seed teams because of majority of a season where kyrie was the best player. They wouldn't have been "minutes away from the finals" if it wasn't for kyrie.

How do people seriously miss this

Ironically, the only way we could afford him would be if Al was to opt out and leave.

Love Randle, especially as a potential center, but - he’s not a good defender and he got his 21 points by being freed of the responsibilities he’d have in a normal functioning offense -

Randle would possibly make sense next to a floor spacing 5 like Horford, but if you plan on starting him then what do you do with Tatum, Hayward and Brown and the starting five?

Rozier Fever: catch it while you can, before you start massaging Hayward's thighs..
