What's your point? Kawhi was hurt too. And he sure looked injured in that game he scored 33 and was doing airplanes. Prior to that series, he had never scored more than 15 points against Marc Gasol in his career. He must always be injured when he plays him.
They were down 3-2 in the series after winning the previous game by 1.
Kawhi looked pretty alright, dude. I dunno how "hurt" he was, he looked a bit hurt at the end of the Philly series and vs the Bucks at times, but he didn't look hurt vs GSW, he looked fatigued at times.
You probably didn't watch rounds 1 and 2 of our run then. Kawhi was unstoppable vs Orlando and Philly and visibly slowed down in the Bucks and GSW series'. He had no lift, and couldn't carry the offence. If our role players didn't step up in rounds 3 and 4 (and they were pretty trash through the first 2 rounds), we would've been done.
The guy was on the floor, playing 40, 40+ minutes a night. What do u expect? He still averaged over 30 points a game in the playoffs. He's human. He looked tired on more than a few occasions. You entire squad was in tact. I don't understand why we're arguing facts. You won, you had a decent amount of luck, it's part of the game, same way injuries are. I feel like you probably would've won in 7 if Klay was healthy and you would've gotten slaughtered if Durant didn't get hurt.
Oh and I'm convinced that if 2-3 of your main guys were injured and you were playing bums in the Finals, you would've been pissed. You were pissed about officiating which you actually shot more FTs in the series, if you were missing 2 of the your top 3 guys you would've been steaming. And tbh I would've been, too if the C's were in the Finals and were missing main players, it's totally normal and human, you don't get these chances every day especially in the NBA.
