Going into a season with rozier over Irving is a fail on a massive lever talent wise.

Not that I am a Rozier fan, i'm really not. But I dont think its about straight up comparing Rozier to Kyrire on a talent level. It takes into account chemistry and the way the team will interact now that Kyrie is gone.

Yes but I think by all accounts both players have very similar issues ego wise and one of them happens to be less than half the talent the other player is .

But yes its apples and oranges

Cause it's easier to demonize Kyrie and blame him for all of it. It's like people just got out of an abusive relationship with the dude.

He didn't soley wreck the team. And it's not as clear as...Kyrie is gone, issues fixed, now Danny works his magic.

Multiple times he said 'how can you expect players to be fully committed and engaged and build chemistry when they know they're there just for a season as a stopgap'. Maybe if Danny offered a 2 or 3 year deal with final year non-guaranteed maybe he comes and rides into the sunset and retires as a Celtic.

Him coming full circle, retiring in Boston and maybe winning another championship would be such a cool story.

How about Vucevic? I think he’s a much better fit with horford than Randle and Capela. He’s good offensively and not that awful defensively.

It doesn't fit their agenda. I always say, Kyrie had one bad year, that's it. He deserves blame, but his job wasn't made any easier by Ainge and Stevens. Ainge was too busy playing fantasy basketball, and Brad tried to make everybody happy.

Nah I am with you. Would rather have him than Morris. He would certainly give us some toughness in the paint on offense. Something this team could use dearly.

He could score in bunches starting for a so so to bad team or be a 5th or 6th option and be the X factor of a championship. Like ya say, his d stinks. Russell brown gordon tatum al is a good starting 5
If al goes then we need to figure out who starts at the C position and there’s literally 0 cap space. In that case gordon dosnt fit at all so he probably gets offloaded too. But keeping both would be a good vet presence in a team that will be lead by younglings.

I want there to be a trade to bring star player/ difference maker but I just don't see it at this point. We need to bring the young players back and increase their trade value. This includes Rozier. We shouldn't trade when their value is low, let them bounce back so they are valuable assets. If Hayward comes back as the old Hayward then we can trade him at the deadline for a decent package. That's why I don't see much happening right now.
