Well Warriors have to resign KD, Klay and longshot Boogie. If its Boogie, Dray and Curry next year, they can still be a dangerous and respectable opponent. I do like GS in a position of being totally under the radar and overlooked this season. Nobody will be paying attention to them as a threat and they can even be more dangerous in that underestimated rule. This loss in the finals really irked them.

Klay should be back some time in between the start of the 2020 playoffs and the 2nd round but I’m not sure if he will be cleared to play or shutdown until the 2020-2021 season as a precaution.

I wouldn't waste time or money on Cousins.

I would try and find a guy with the MLE who fits into the team when KD and Klay come back the following year.

This next season is all about finding pieces and fits for 2020-21.

Fascinating how ESPN and FS1 media all praise the Lakers and tout Lebron inevitably winning his 4th ring by adding AD and another star. However KD needs to leave the Warriors and win with G leaguers to have a legit ring in their eyes? GS drafted their core yet they are unfair collection of players? I find it alarming that nobody in the media chastised Bron for needing superstars to win rings but when GS gets one they need to break up immediately. I guarantee media wont be praying for Lakers to meltdown this year.

The word is that we can sign Cousins @ $6.1 or something like that and STILL have our full MLE

In which case we should push for him to come back. I just doubt that happens.

Keeping Cousins + another player with full MLE + a $9 mil exception if KD signs on for 5 yrs could help next season

No way they will sign for $23 mil starting as trade stands.

Read up. Looks like Griffin screwed LAL out of FA getting a 3rd star; or maybe add Kuzuma also if LAL wants help to sign a max FA with cap money.

I am loving this drama.

I see what you mean. Bron and Kuzma don't play defense and Vogel is a defensive coach so that should implode. Im a lot less worried about Bron and AD. Thats not nearly enough to be a "finals guarantee".

Non bird rights allow you to give a 20% raise on his past salary to anyone who you had signed to a 1 year deal the past year.

Black Falcon declines his $25 million player option on the final year of his current deal, which he signed with Dallas after leaving the Warriors.

Still only 27 so he should get a multi-year deal for well over that amount guaranteed.

LAL just figured out they got screwed with their math and wants to redo the trade for AD? Hahaha.

Conley to Utah. Veeeeery interesting. I liked their team before. Particularly in a year that is very up for grabs, they could be a team to watch.

I'm totally not sold on the Lakers as the Vegas favorite for the title this year.

If Dallas is running out a front line of Doncic, Porzingas, and Al Horford, then Dayummm, that's impressive.

Yes, but in which conditions the unicorn will be?
And how long will he last next time?
Horford is 33 btw, and he’s not getting any younger. 100x4 is a lot.

Horford was great last year. He's in great shape. I'm not worried about Horford.

LAL trade with Pelicans is officially done (on 7/6) since they re-traded the 4th pick. LAL cannot beg for a redo anymore. Hehehe.

Love the drama of this off season. And FA has not even start.
