I'm kind of surprised so many people on twitter and here seem to think he really knows something. I am almost 100% certain the FO doesn't give him anything.

I agree. If he is fed anything at this point, its smoke screen type stuff. He mostly just states his opinion. Hes just stating the obvious. Most generic casual suns fans are of the mind "DRAFT A PG! WE NEED A PG!" That is all I see on the suns IG comments. Gambo is of the same mind. Just states his opinion, and knows suns need a PG. I don't trust his"sources" much anymore. He's been wrong many many times.

He is just guessing at this point, he might hear something just before it is announced and spits it out there as quickly as possible to try and say he is "breaking" news.... but for him to say that we are not trading the #6 or TJ or JJ is just stupid. James Jones came out and said everything is on the table and possible short of trading our core. If packaging those guys in some fashion to better the team is possible you better bet you hind parts that we will do it.

I look forward to him tweeting out Woj's draft results in his own tweets as if he has some secret source. Not retweeting Woj, but re-typing what Woj wrote in his own tweet and saying "sources".

It feels like he is getting fed fake news regarding #4 from the pelicans to draw up interest in us moving up.

Didn’t Jrue say he doesn’t want to play PG?

Hmm.. he is atlanta based
I forget why I was following his stuff for awhile - maybe Machado and Harper as a Padres fan
he was wrong is all I know --- I think he got some Braves stuff right but he was all over the map with Machado and Harper

pipe dream - it would have to include Tyler Johnson and we all know - until he OPTS IN... granted, if he opts in, he can be traded
if he doesn't, Suns have cap space so if this deal has any credence, it will be a July 6 effective date

Also, how do we always **** end up talking about Gambo 2 times a year for like 3 weeks at a time, can we all just collectively agree he isn't relevant anymore?

For some reason, even though I don't think Gambo knows anything, this seems like an odd thing for him and Nevel to just randomly make up. Especially as bad as Gambo wants a PG.

Holiday was mentioned on the Lowe post yesterday as potentially coming to the Pels and quietly asking to be traded to a contender... So it would be kind of funny if he was shipped to Phoenix.

I don't buy that rumor because it seems like Memphis has been basically marketing Ja to their fan base already.

I don't think a Jrue trade would HAVE to include Tyler Johnson. He makes $26.1 million. I think TJ and JJ make over $17. I think we could absorb the difference, especially if our pick was going out.

Maybe a little truth to the Holiday rumor then......

I wouldn’t be surprised if Okobo is also included

I also doubt the pelicans want Tyler. I bet they prefer warren + Jackson

Why wouldn't the Suns want Russell? Is it because for 27.5m they can get both PG and PF if they clear cap space

Is it because they don't like the fit next to Booker

Just saying NOT AN OPTION makes zero sense. He is really just Skip Bayless and Stephen A Smith now -
And he still likes Terry Rozier!

It doesn't matter who he likes, but it just seems odd he would say Russell is not an option. Not sure why he would.

Jrue, Tyler and Booker would be pretty solid three some in the backcourt

Suns would probably just have the MLE left over to fill the 4 as the draft would not be an option
