It’s crazy how he gets paid so much (well into the 6 figures) to basically be wrong each and every time.

I get that Stephen A Smith and Skip Baylee’s have made a fortune of doing the same but they are at least entertaining when they do it.

Gambo should’ve lost his job many years ago imo.

I honestly don't even know who would want him. Maybe they can stretch him and $17+ million a year for the next 7 years (joking).

She probably just has opinions on the Harden/Paul thing. Her pinned tweet is her interviewing Harden.

The reaction by all fan bases involved would be glorious.

nicely done!

NEvel said the Suns would be using the 6th pick to trade for a PG -- there is no way they are using the 6th pick to trtade for Chris Paul

They don't want D'Angelo but would want a 34 year old, at the end of his career guy making 125/3 - no way.

I don't think they can get there -- even at 27.5m and needing to be withing a certain % of the total salary. Maybe if they throw in a couple dudes like Wagner and whatever.

I think it’s evident that Morey doesn’t give a crap about team chemistry. How do you not see the warning signs before giving him a max extension?

The guy did think trading for (or signing?) Melo was a good idea, even after the OKC experiment.

Don’t get it twisted. Lebron will trade Kuzma to get CP3 without hesitation. So would I

I thnk the only way they can do this is two things
1) Davis waives the 4m trade kicker
3) the Lakers get the Pelicans to wait until July 30 to make the trade and the Pelicans are given like Kuzma and maybe a draft pick from Houston.

Yeah Chris Paul has been a prickly dude to play with for like a decade. They knew what they were getting into with this.

I agree that Warren/Jackson/#6 for Holiday is too much, but Johnson/Jackson/#6 for him would be a nice trade. Holiday is one of my favorite guards in the league. Even if neither of them wants to be a full-time PG, Jrue/Devin would be a great backcourt with passing, shooting, size, P&R ability, and much better defense than if we signed Russell or drafted Garland or something like that. We'd still have something like $10m in cap space to either sign a PF, trade for one, or absorb someone like Ilyasova in exchange for future draft considerations, and then can go over the cap with an Oubre signing.

A Holiday-Booker-Oubre-Warren-Ayton starting 5 with Bridges, Melton, Okobo, maybe Bender, maybe Holmes off the bench is pretty damn solid and well-rounded. We'd be lacking rim protection generally and size at the 4, but that lineup compares well IMO to the non-elite Western Conference playoff teams like Utah, Portland, San Antonio. So I think we'd be in the playoff race for sure.

If we could do this while also obtaining a pick in this draft to use on Clarke/Doumbouya/Washington, that'd be just dreamy.

I don’t get Burns comparing DLo/Booker to Backcourt 2000 and saying Backcourt 2000 was a disaster. It went bad because they couldn’t stay healthy, not because they couldn’t play together. If going from 27 wins to 50+ wins is a disaster, then let’s get another disaster going.

Also don’t get Gambo saying DLo plays literally no defense. He’s not good or anything, but he was about average this season and had a better DRPM than Tyler Johnson despite Johnson being considered a tough defender.
