So if the Lakers did land Kemba, what would they look like?

Kemba
KCP
LeBron
Kuzma
Davis

And no 1st round draft picks for the next few years?

The defense could be a little suspect depending on what role players they get, but that team would be insane on offense.

Its hilarious how badly the Knicks got screwed over.

Traded KP to get cap space to sign KD/AD, one of them tears a ligament and the other gets traded to the lakers and their other target is going to the nets.

I’m sure Kemba is dying to sing back ground for Lebron and still not win

I love it honestly. Knicks have the worst fan base in the league imo. The level of entitlement and amount of attention they think they deserve even though their team has been garbage for 20+ years is completely insufferable.

I dont understand why people call them a historic franchise, if the team wasn't in NYC they'd be totally irrelevant. I know I answered my own question.

so as of now Pelicans could start:
Ball
Jrue
Ingram
Zion
Randle?

I think Randle will opt out, but that's a fun start to a team.

Ball
Holiday

Jaxson Hayes

New Orleans getting out and running with Ball lobbing alley oops to Zion and Hayes would be really fun.

I'm not at all convinced that the Lakers will be contenders next year. If they add a 3rd star, Kemba or otherwise, it will definitely help but even then it's no sure thing.

Everyone is conveniently forgetting Lebron is getting into territory where only a handful of players have been high-end stars much less superstars, and Davis gets hurt for an extended stretch basically every year. In addition to that they have absolutely no cap flexibility, basically no future picks and by next season their luxury tax bill will be astronomical. The 2020 Lakers are super intriguing, I am interested to see what happens, but there is a real chance this ends up being 2013 all over again.

What if Lebron goes down for an extended period? Or Davis? Or both? With such paper-thin depth that team needs everyone to stay perfectly healthy to be elite.

Horford opted out, which means Kyrie is 100% gone. I've wanted him in Charlotte for years, he's an awesome player. It's too bad there's no way in hell he'd sign here. Dude wants to win a ring and I don't blame him.

He won't win in Boston either now that Kyrie is likely to bolt out.

That tells me that the Wizards are confident that they are trading back, probably with the Celtics. That said they also don't have a GM right now, so it could be plain old incompetence/laziness.

That's something. Even having no GM doesn't explain that. Trades do.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Nah they're just going to watch some youtube highlight videos when they're on the clock and make the call that way

So...Chris Paul wants out and the Cavs are shopping Love but are having trouble finding a deal. Will we do something monumentally stupid or not?

I remember years ago a post of rufusonfire where a supposed insider had us getting chris paul, Dwight and melo at the trad deadline. Guess we can make that happen now. Better late than never lol

10 years late to the party is better than not arriving at all right?
