That kid is just wired differently. Thankful he's on the team.

Coaching/FO announcements perhaps?

Normal every-year pre-draft presser. Nothing really to see here beyond that.

Ah, fair enough then.

I was told there was no chance he would want to play here....

I think its more like he would love to play here but there is close to a slim and none chance of getting him here.

As the guy who has literally been calling this since before the Kyrie Irving to Brooklyn and "Minnesota is interested" rumours even popped up, I am very much in the "lay back and in enjoy the show" mode when D'Angelo Russell ends up here.

I will say though, trading up for Darius Garland would 100% make me question my judgement on this one, haha. I am super pro-Garland though, so I'd be totally fine with ending up looking like an idiot, assuming Covington isn't the one going out.

If there is a will, there is a way. "Trust the process", the dream is incredibly possible.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'd like him here.

Actually wonder if the framework on something is basically done. Not saying there's an official agreement, but both sides likely know what each other want.

I think its really hard because we are capped. I think the gist is as follows:

In a S&T, we absorb Dlo's full salary, but the nets would need about half that salary in return to match.

BUT, the nets dont want any salary back because then they can renounce dlo's cap hold and use that space for a second max contract guy.

So, we would need to find a taker for wiggs with 0 salary coming back or Dieng/Teague with 0 salary backto try and get Dlo from the Nets.

Pretty impressive what Wiggins and especially KAT have done in just a handful of years.

Probably worth to mention that scoring has increased in NBA in recent years.

It is, but it speaks to the lack of longevity among most players in this franchise.

Case in point: If Gorgui makes it to next season, he'll be in his 7th season with the team, tying him with Wally Szczerbiak for 4th-longest Timberwolves career by a player in franchise history. And Andrew would be in his 6th season, which would be tied for 6th longest all-time. Just 17 players have played 5 years in Minnesota, but Towns will and Jones could add to that number.

Space Jam 2 Cast:

LeBron James, Damian Lillard, Anthony Davis and Klay Thompson and WNBA stars Diana Taurasi and Nneka Ogwumike.

Space jam 1 will always be better with MJ, Ewing, Chuck, LJ, Mogusy, & Bradley

thats a cool infograph. Anyone know how to make one like it?

Also I feel like Love never gets enough respect. Dude was phenomenal in his last couple seasons. Prolific scorer. Great rebounder. One area we have been extremely fortunate with is PF/hybrid center. Love, KG, Towns, Big Al, were all amongst the best scorers in the league when they played that position for us. They were all pretty good at rebounding too. We have had that since 96.

The way Love bailed left a bad taste in people's mouths I think, had he eventually decided to test FA after a couple extra struggling seasons where he tried to put us on his back I think the reaction would've been less severe.

He was very talented though, there was a point where he was arguably the best or second best PF in the league.
