A trade has to be accepted by both parties involved to complete said trade. What do the hornets have to offer that would make the pelicans want to trade it for number four?

Not really sure, I'm thinking 2019 #12, 2019 #36, 2021 top 5 protected 1st, and maybe a player swap.

We’re talking about the number four pick in the draft. Why on earth would the pelicans do that?

Lol dude, you are seriously overvaluing the #4 pick. What do you think you are going to get for it? And, this draft isn't even that top heavy outside Zion.

What? The wizards turned down the number four for Bradley Beal, a top five shooting guard in the NBA.

I read the Lakers are looking to buy 2nd round picks. Anyone think we sell the #36? I hope not, but my gut says MJ needs some gambling money.

Mitch has made it clear that there is now a different value on second round picks. With the development of the G league and 2-way contracts, it gives us a minor league system to stock with prospects which we could never do years ago.

Mitch drafted Marc Gasol and Patrick Beverley in the 2nd. We want that man making 2nd round draft selections.

Would Be Ok With:
Zion Williamson
Ja Morant
DeAndre Hunter
Jaxson Hayes
Bruno Fernando
Nickeil Alexander-Walker
Mfiondu Kabengele
Cameron Johnson
Daniel Gafford
Jontay Porter

Don't Really Want:
RJ Barrett
Sekou Doumbouya
Cameron Reddish
Rui Hachimura
Nassir Little
Goga Bitadze
Bol Bol
Brandon Clarke
Matisse Thybulle
Kevin Porter
Nicolas Claxton
Naz Reid

The rest I'm kinda indifferent about.

Keep in mind I really have no dog in the fight because I hardly watched any college basketball this year and aren't really invested or genuinely opposed to any specific players.

Mitch would have a fit if Jordan told him to sell 36

I'd be happy with any of NAW, Washington, Langford, Little, Hayes, Hachimura, Keldon Johnson, or even Claxton at 12. I'd be ambivalent with Goga or Herro and worried if we pick Porter, Bol Bol, or Clarke.

I just don't see it with Doumbouya. I don't see any finesse or feel for the game - just a young kid who kind of bullies his way around and I don't think he'll get away with that in the NBA.

With Barrett I think he's the type of guy who could put up a lot of stats, but maybe not actually influence the outcome of games or significantly add to the win column. I think his decision making is questionable as well. Also - 66% from the line and 3+ turnovers a game = gross. I think Barrett on a "super team" surrounded by 2 other studs would make him look awesome, but as a primary I think he's Will Barton'ish.

Cam Johnson almost a lock if hes there at Phillys pick. Sucks. He'd be great here.

Honestly I wouldn't mind Little at 12. He's a big time athlete with all the physical tools to succeed in the NBA. No doubt he has a lot to learn, but nobody at 12 is a polished prospect and I feel he has a desire to improve his game. Porter seems like he would be a nice pick also. I like the shake and creativity in his game, not to mention he's quite the athlete himself. No doubt he takes some awful shots, but I guess I would rather have someone who you have to reign in rather than someone you have to beg to take shots. Worst case he looks like a solid sixth man.

I want Nassir Little so I can have another likeable try-hard wing to cheer and have irrational optimism for.

Wallace > MKG > Little

3rd times the charm right?

Not sure if I should draft NAW or just resign Kemba and bring in BJ Taylor in summer league. With kemba already saying he wants to be here then we might as well sign him for less as he states he is willing to accept. That would change my draft then for that matter.

#12 - Luka Samanic
#36 - Tyler Cook
#36 - Darius Bazley, Joshua Obeishie, Jordan Poole, Matisse Thybulle, Isaiah Roby, Jalen McDaniels,

Invite BJ Taylor to camp

Kemba, BJ, Graham
Lamb, Obeisie
Bacon, Bridges
Samanic, Frank
Cook, Biz

Not sure. It is narrowed to Samanic and NAW at #12 for me. #36 I guess I should go with COOK there but I am really hoping Obeisie falls to #51.
