um... 6 if you count frank and monk.

4 singles and 2 strike outs

One was a ground into a triple play with the bases loaded in game 7 of the World Series down 1 run because it brought back Batum.

We are due though I'm all for moving up, better than playing catch the falling "star"

Cody is a double that tried to stretch to a triple and got picked off between the bases.
MKG is flyout. Took a big swing, it looked like it was good for a second and then nope. About 20 feet short.
Vonleh is game ending double play (we got Nic for him)
Monk is a bunt that may or may not be good enough to get to first.
Biz is a popup that the infielder bobbled.
Frank is a weakly hit ground ball that somehow squeaked through the infield.
Kemba is a 3 run homer. Almost as good as we could've done, but not quite a grand slam.

Many other bad picks if you keep going back. Adam Morrison a disaster, Felton and May in the same draft lottery, etc.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Morrison got hit by a pitch which started a bench-clearing brawl resulting in the accidental deaths of the opposing picture. The end result was the team getting suspended for a year, the franchise being fined a million dollars and a loss of three first-round picks.

May is the player who decided he'd rather be a mascot. Spent the prime of his years inside the Phillie Phanatic costume giving away free hot dogs to kids in the parking lot.

Felton obviously ate all the free hot dogs that he stole from the kids.

Jeff Taylor was a wild pitch that hit someone in the face.
Okafor was a solid line-drive double just after the previous player hit a homer and did a really exaggerated bat-flip that made everyone hate him.

First time opening this thread and was not disappointed with the baseball analogies lol

Apologies if this was brought up elsewhere, but I read another player was delaying opting in until after the draft so he couldn’t be traded on draft night. Safe to assume that’s why MKG hasn’t opted in so far? Man, I remember when we were actually upset he got hurt and was out for most of the year in 2015-16. That happened to be this version of the hornets best season yet. I’m so ready to move on from him. I think it’s inevitable he is not on this team by next summer.

Kemba was a home run. Miles could potentially be a base hit. Everyone else in the last decade or so was a swinging strikeout or a strikeout looking. I'll give Cody the benefit of a pop fly.

I think MKG might actually be opting out. Maybe he's going to leave to play with his old high school buddy Kyrie in Brooklyn?

That's a real possibility. I think that MKG wants to be here. I also think that Mitch would trade him with no remorse and that draft night would be one of the best times to do so.

I currently lean towards MKG opting in.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

I'm expecting him to opt in the day after the draft. If he wasn't going to opt in, I think we'd hear something about it by now. Two days to go until it's the draft, MKG is avoiding the draft trade. I guess he would rather be dealt mid-season. I just can't imagine him on this team passed the deadline and certainly not by next season.

His agent would get canned within a week if he advised him otherwise.

Alright, I didn't think he'd opt in before the draft. This a good sign that he could be on the move as he now becomes a tradable asset.

He didn't have to do this until Saturday. He's making himself available to be traded before / as part of the draft by doing it now.

Sorry - I meant he be crazy not to if he has any interest in not riding the pine for another season and only playing spot mins and hopes to be traded.

I mean, he pretty much had career lows across the board last season - due in part to a serious reduction in playing time (almost 10mpg less I think).

Can't see that changing next year for him.

So he either opts in now and hopes to be traded, or he waits until Saturday and knows he'll likely expect the same experience next season as he did last.

I bet he'd love to go to LA and play with his college buddy.
