We've seen good vets struggle with a roster full of young players. Many free agents don't want to come to Phoenix because of our extreme pool of youth. That is why keeping Warren, Oubre, and Johnson is important as opposed to throwing them away for cap space and/or draft picks. Hell that's why not renouncing free agent rights (Daniels, Holmes, Bender) is a bad idea. We need veterans with experience as opposed to inexperienced draft picks.

Movable pieces to me are Jackson, Melton, Okobo, Spalding, and our draft picks. Replacing our vets with young trash is insane.

I have always wanted to keep Warren and if possible - Tyler Johnson too. And really - unless its for Jrue or D'Lo at this point - Tyler will probably be on the Suns . Which is a good thing to me. I still want to keep Warren (he scores the ball!

But if the Suns can move the names you suggest, maybe the 6th pick and still get PG and PF (Rubio and Aminu or Young) - I think the team will be much improved.

Just an idea to add a GOOD veteran player...

If that rumor about Joe Harris being available in a trade it is true I would love to grab him.

The Mil pick, #32 and Josh Jackson for Joe Harris.

But the Nets probably just want cap space...in that case we can absorb his contract for the #32 pick.

I know that he is a wing, but he is too different from what we already have and he is in his prime.

What'd I say yesterday after that Russ + Oubre photo hanging out? I said - Thunder would love to shed money to sign somebody big. And that, my friends, I am willing to bet all my money is gonna be Oubre. I'm tellin ya right here right now - Thunder gonna have Oubre as their starting SF alongside PG13 (PF) and Russ (PG). Watch and see.

Suns won't match. Suns will have TJ Warren, Josh Jackson, and...wait for it.....their new starting PG Cory Joseph.

It's nearly impossible for them to clear enough money to be an under the cap team and use anything other than the MLE. Like they would need to trade nearly every player except George and Russ.

They are trying to move some money to not pay a giant luxery tax bill.

Posted this in the Jackson thread but it's realevant here because his constant stupidity is not going to help his trade value.

Aren’t the thunder like 6 billion dollars over the cap? I think they’re more likely just trying to avoid luxury tax for the 8 straight season

****.

Look, I knew he had a big red flag going into the draft because his immature personality. What a big mistake we made drafting him. The guy is dumb.

No way James Jones/Monty accepts him on the roster.

Yeah, I honestly think he might just get released.

There is one little problem with this statement; the Thunder would have to clear around $49 million to even make an offer of more then the MLE for Oubre. That is with only 8 people under contract. there is no way that they can clear over $65 million in salary to even make a $15 million offer for Oubre.
Just say no to idiots!!

Jonathan Isaac would have been perfect next to Ayton... Is that trade for Frank N still on the table?

This makes me sad. I was on Isaac island before that draft, one of my favorite prospects in years. I like those do a little of everything guys.
