I'll be honest - I'm having a bit of an existential crisis around trading for CP3. I want to like the guy because he's from Winston-Salem, his State Farm ads are funny, he's a historically great PG, and he likes bowling, but I just feel like he's a locker room implosion waiting to happen and he's never been a consistent winner and does not appear to be a true leader.

I like the idea of trading Batum's salary for a more useful player, but I just can't talk myself into thinking that acquiring CP3 is a good idea.

I the Cavs will take Batum and Cody and give us their second rounder I would take back Love. Probably not what they have in mind though.

It's like going to your 10 year high school reunion hoping to get a shot at the head cheerleader who never paid attention to you.

You show up and she's had three kids with ex husband Chad the QB, has gained 35 badly carried pounds and chain smokes Marlboros.

You roll up in your 50k car, sporting a bespoke suit, and she decides to pounce like a drunken lioness on a wounded wildebeest.

Do you say "**** it" and go to pound town using your high school spank bank memories to muscle through it?

Or do you do the right thing, and let that dream die like it needs to?

Wow, just wow. Here’s a Boston team that was favored to win the East, dying in real time. What made Al give up on s off-season looks like a doozy for changes.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I wonder if the Celtics "attempts" to trade/sign for big players finally got to the team. They are always in the rumors, but never actually get it done besides Kyrie. Seems to have ego problems too, Rozier said his talent is being limited because of his role if I recall correctly.

Why does Kyle Korver always seem to be trade stuffer in deals?

Feel like this was a good deal for both Utah and Memphis... Memphis should be able to grab a young center or wing player to pair with Morant and JJJ... also think Grayson Allen could still be a guy who can play.

For Utah they have a watered down big 3 now and some super solid role players around them.

Utah would probably love to have Marv, pity they have nothing to trade. They might even kick kaminskys tyres

Wasn't that long ago Conley signed the biggest contract in league history, too. All the more reason that signing Kemba is a no-brainer even if it takes the supermax.

If the sign Kemba and Horford they are looking at a super nice starting lineup.

I wonder if there is any way we could sign Rubio with the MLE or something. Ive wanted him here for a while and Utah won't have a lot of need for him now.

He is a great fit with Kemba since he can guard SG's and be a primary playmaker and he is the exact kind of backup PG that could help unlock Monk's potential as a scoring threat.

Kemba/Rubio/Graham
Bacon/Monk
Miles/Batum
Marv/MKG
Cody/Frank/Biz

+ picks 12/36/52

I hope theres some way we can woo him, assuming he is even on the radar of our front office. I feel very strongly that he is such a good fit for our roster that he could improve the team more than you would expect for a player of his talent level.
