Please please please let Kyrie go to the Nets. Does he really wanna be in Lebrons shadow again?

Nah, hes good.
Literally won that title for Cleveland and LeBron got all the applause.
No way in hell they'll team up again.

Well his running mate blew his Achilles out and then his old mentor was able to get awarded Anthony Davis. Ready made title run, can you blame him?

Pelicans / Suns / Thunder

Thunder trades the 21st pick to Philadelphia for 33rd and 34th picks.

Pelicans gets Warren and Melton from the Suns. Ferguson and 33rd Pick (via 76ers) from Thunder. Minus 1 win on the trade machine.

Suns gets Westbrook and Grant and 34th pick (via 76ers) from Thunder.

Thunder gets Holiday from Pelicans and Booker from Suns.

New Starting Lineup for Thunder

PG Holiday
SG Booker
PF Patterson
SF George

If all the Pelicans were getting back for Holiday was Warren/Melton/33rd pick and Turd Ferguson, why wouldnt we just skip the OKC part and trade for Holiday our self and replace Ferg with Jackson and the 33rd with our own 31st?

This has Thunder-fans dream written all over it.

This reminds me of one of my favorite scenes:

I could be elected president.[/spoiler]

J. Michael of the Indy Star reports the Suns have been pursuing rookie point guard Aaron Holiday.

The Phoenix Suns, who were expected to take Holiday at No. 16 in the draft but allowed him to drop to the Pacers at No. 23, remain aggressive in trying to shake him loose, along with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Chicago Bulls.

yes before we see a single game or a single offseason and the result we should assume the entire staff and front office are all idiots and have no idea what they are doing. what do you say we give it at least a year or two before burn em at the stake.

Aaron Holiday? I like him a lot, I wanted him in the past draft badly.

I would like to trade for him, he has good potential as an starting PG. Better than Melton/Okobo.

Because these things scream a brilliant front office:

1) favors for Lebron (embarrassing)
https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.azcentral.com/amp/1950859002

2) scouting (what a national joke)
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.brightsideofthesun.com/platform/amp/2019/2/27/18242951/woj-suns-are-concern-for-nba-barely-scouting-draft-prospects

3) botched trade (can’t even get a trade right, takes the suns to screw up a trade to get the trade right in the end)

4) no return on investment (not even a late 2nd round)
https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.azcentral.com/amp/2345795002

I mean how many times does James Jones have to kick you in the balls to make you realize he isn’t very good at his job?

This has to be smoke, why would we think the Pacers would trade their rookie pg when Collison is a free agent. This would be the time to turn it over to the kid not get rid of him.

It’s a bit alarming when a team is ready to trade a player while on their rookie contract (if not for a star player). Look at us for instance, we wanna trade Jackson, declined Benders team option, already traded Chriss. Any rookie not being traded in a package for a star should raise red flags. Why would a young team like the Pacers let him go?

Indiana Pacers want to give D Russell the max contract and I think they would get one of Collison/Joseph back too.

They are contenders in the East, I think Holiday would not play a lot next season.

They have the cap space already though. I guess if they wanted an already established player at a different position that makes sense...

If you select and trade for enough late first/early second round PGs from the same draft, one will eventually become good.

Not sure why we would want him given Okobo and Melton but not going to criticise till we see the plan.

Return to Phoenix Suns
