Btw, wouldn't mind 22/cap space for Adams/21. We're in a dire need of a big, the OKC Thunder get cap and #22, we get Adams and are rewarded #21 for getting them out of cap hell. Adams deal is expiring I believe, and I highly doubt he's getting 23-24 mils a year again so it might be a good thing for us. I like Capela but his contract has 3 more years on it.
Good assessment:

Not for a Canadian kid, Atlanta is like landing on the far side of the moon.

Is the draft that weak that they are trading the 3 for 8/10/17?

Wonder if we could offer 14 and 20 for that 8. Lol

Can't wait about 7 hours to go. Pls, don't mess this up Danny. Big and a shooter or shot creator. We've basically even gotten you a list, if you're reading RealGM. :D

Bitadze/Clarke/Claxton/Sekou/Washington/eve Fernando(with Baynes gone)/Hachimura, too...
Herro/Langford/Garland if he's worth the trade/ Keldon Johnson/last resort Jerome or Thybulle
Jalen Lecque with say 38th pick(bought, then send him to the G-League)..

Woj and Shams should just tweet out the draft picks now. Save everyone the suspense.

It's probably possible, btw. Cause there is no real clarity on who's gonna the best player between the 6 guys that will go for 8 to 14..

I don't know about value, but it really makes no sense for the Knicks to be bringing guys in on the day of the draft (or day before) if they're staying at 3. Wouldn't be the first or last time the Knicks do something that makes no sense, but still.

#3 and #4 are going to be interesting this year... lots of action.

Btw, what's the deal with Hayes? I'm not too familir with him, have watched highlights of him and don't understand what's all the fuzz about when it comes to him? He seems like a mobile big who can dunk, can he shoot? If not I don't understand how he's ranked top 10 everywhere, while a guy like Fernando is anywhere from 14-15 to 20+..

While we're all killing time, pretending to work, here's something fun - SBNation set up a random draft scouting report generator.

https://www.sbnation.com/nba/2019/6/19/18683490/nba-draft-2019-scouting-report-generator-and-its-real

Here's what mine says:

Celtsfansincebirth has the quick feet to jump higher than Zion, but scouts say hitting the snooze button could be an issue

Well....I do like that snooze button.

Everyone post there's and we could do a mock draft in an hour.

EDIT: Nevermind. I'm going to just generate reports for the next 20 people who post after me.

He is taller and longer, can run better in transition, projects to be a better rim-protector. The big difference is hands: Hayes has extremely soft and good hands for a big, and next to his really good space awareness and positioning on dump offs, pick&roll and transition, he is the perfect rim-runner. But that's about it, he does not project to do anything else. Personally, I wouldn't take him lottery but ATL needs a big next to Collins.
Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

Last year he technically complied by tweeting stupid **** like "New Orleans fancies the idea of Zion at #1"
