Can we agree to at least use spoiler tags tonight if we share the pick before it’s officially announced

I actually think this is a pretty legit request for those who still want to surf the threads without being spoiled. Hard to manage, though, I think. I wish I could @ one of the mods. Smartwentcrazy and The Comedian, where you at?

Well....I do like that snooze button.

Everyone post there's and we could do a mock draft in an hour.

Hope they take Culver.. or that we trade Jaylen for 3/Frank..

The way our fortunes have turned I’d love to swap out Jaylen for Barrett..

Guys.........

big-shot-ROB has the tremendous upside potential to shatter a backboard, but scouts say tendency to hit reply-all to mass emails could be an issue

greenroom31 has the weirdly big hands to star in a commercial with Lil' Penny, but scouts say calling out spells from Harry Potter when taking jumpers could be an issue

BostonCouchGM has the long arms to eventually be a top pick in the BIG3 draft, but scouts say history of letting everyone down could be an issue

31to6 has the weirdly big hands to win Rising Stars Challenge MVP twice, but scouts say unkempt eyebrows could be an issue

KGboss has the tremendous upside potential to be the Scottie Pippen to Zion's Jordan, but scouts say desire to stop and pet every dog they walk by could be an issue

CeltsfaninDC has the bendy ankles to win the G League dunk contest, but scouts say inability to check Snopes before forwarding emails could be an issue

Disinformation has the outlet pass to get their summer league jersey retired, but scouts say buying bottles of Coke instead of Big Gulps at 7-11 could be an issue

I'm gonna draft greenroom31, because Harry Potter is cool.

Should do that for all NBA news. Boston fascinated by prospect of signing Nikola Vucevic to 4 year, $109.6 million contract with a 10% trade kicker and $750k in performance incentives

I was thinking 4 years 100m, but everyone can be off a few million from reality.

Yes. Taking into account the value of the pick he'll get picked, the salary attached to that pick and the production of the player, they've decided to value him as the 3rd best valuable asset.

Not tier 2 as a player, but tier 2 as value. An example of this method, John Wall is definetely on a higher tier as a player than Spencer Dinwiddie, but their salaries in the 18-19 season would considerably put Dinwiddie as the more valuable player.
Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

He seems like a mobile big who can dunk, can he shoot? If not I don't understand how he's ranked top 10 everywhere, while a guy like Fernando is anywhere from 14-15 to 20+..

He is taller and longer, can run better in transition, projects to be a better rim-protector. The big difference is hands: Hayes has extremely soft and good hands for a big, and next to his really good space awareness and positioning on dump offs, pick&roll and transition, he is the perfect rim-runner. But that's about it, he does not project to do anything else. Personally, I wouldn't take him lottery but ATL needs a big next to Collins.

I think Fernando could be a star if his rapid year to year growth could continue.. but he’s a much sloppier player than Hayes, who is more efficient because he has a leaner game. Hayes has the Texas pedigree, too.

Why do you want Frank though? Brown has proven himself in the league. If you will trade him for a pick/potential, you should demand more than Frank, wouldn't you agree? By the way I think RJ has become underrated and consider him the 2nd best player in the draft.

What else can NY add? I think Frank has plenty of potential left himself - it might be less than Jaylen’s market value, sure..

The other scenario I like is New York trading down and Atlanta taking Culver, New Orleans Hunter or Garland, and Cleveland trading 5 and Tristan Thompson’s money for Brown..

What if New Orleans took Barrett though, as they're rumored to be keen on? Is Brown worth Thompson & Garland or Hunter? I'm thinking not.

Draft day trades are usually based on contingencies - like, we trade with Cleveland *if* Barrett is on the board..

There’s also a weird 4 for Kevin Love theory - Griffin wants a “veteran stretch 4” if he trades the fourth pick..

Woj is kind of a piece of crap for still doing this. I’m pretty sure ESPN and the NFL don’t do this anymore. Like Schefter waits now. Why even televise the thing then?

I don’t even go on around our picks because usually a local guy will break the pick.

Man this wonderful thing ruined by spoilers.

Does Chris Berman still do the NFL draft on ESPN? I switched to NFL Network years ago because I got sick of his fake predictions based on him already seeing the card. Worse tha Woj tweeting IMO -- because you can't avoid it if you watch that broadcast.
