I thought he would be gone by our pick but Cam Johnson is a sharpshooter I would like to roll the dice on too...

How do people here feel about Goga Bitadze? Seen rumors about the Nets eyeing him in a trade up.

He sounds interesting, if Marks like him I'm in.

I don't like this at all, Pistons need wing help and are a huge threat to take Bazley one pick before us IMO:

He's one of the best centers in the draft. It depends on what they'd be trading to move up and get him.
I got the burner-Kevin Durant

It's almost like this was a great year to trade a #17 pick bc you still have 2 other picks at the back end of the first/early second.

if we can get that from them, do it. Don't they have multiple firsts now thanks to Utah?

Dinwiddie and #27 to Indy for #18?
Would solve two problems!
Save $$$ by moving Dinwiddie for a potential Kyrie / Russell / Horford (someone like that, would allow more flexibility) combination.
Still draft your big man... Clarke, Williams, Washington, whoever.
Indy can pair Dinwiddie with Oladipo by only dropping back 9 spaces.
Ehh??

Unless Bol Bol falls drastically (highly unlikely) I am hoping the Nets end up Mfiondu Kabengele and Darius Bazley.

Indy seems to be targeting Rubio in free agency.

I was right!NyCeEvO wrote:IMO because teams missed out on Mitchell Robinson, they will overcorrect and jump early to get this guy.bud29 wrote:MrDollarBills wrote:
there HAS to be some prejudice about what Bailey did. I'm looking at a kid with some smooth handle at 6'9 and ridiculous length. There is no way in hell he should be around when the Nets pick.
Bazley is this year's Mitchell Robinson. Going to be penalized for not having college tape but he has some fantastic potential. I'm really hoping we get him - Samanic at 27 and Bazley at 31 would be a great draft, IMO.
It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see some team draft him towards the end of the lottery.
And since we know about him and can see the obvious talent, I'm pretty sure GMs of other teams see him too. Given Marks track record with drafting, I could totally see another team just monitoring who were interested in and pick the player we want ahead of us. Obviously, teams can't replicate our development program, but they may believe that the draftee has enough will and determination to become great on their own even without having our comprehensive system of development at their disposal.
