Sounds like people just thinking "Villanova player targeted in this range....let's have the Sixers pick him" - mock drafts are pretty meaningless.

Well, I for one hope to hear Paschall's name read out tonight....preceded by the words "with the 22nd pick in the NBA draft the Boston Celtics select..."

My favourite value plays that would likely be available at the 76ers range (mid 20s to mid 30s)

Grant Williams (embrace being big, mean, physical and smart, has awesome shot-markers, super smart)
Carsen Edwards (best pull-up in the class with Herro, insane range, has more size than people think)
Matisse Thybulle (Danny Green 2.0, not a great athlete but fluid and has some handling ability, not a stopper but great team D, hand-eye coordination it's ridiculous)
Talen Horton-Tucker (he is raw, plays smaller than you'd think given his size, def more of a Guard in terms of mentality than a big wing or a small-ball 4, finishing craft is impressive, super young, should be better off if he gets down to 220lbs)
Chuma Okeke (he is Jared Dudley/Kyle Anderson type, not as athletic as RoCo, smart team defender, enough shooting the ball, passes, just solid, not high upside but good)
Nic Claxton (I think he is kinda like Jared Jeffries but better, Kevon Looney is a good comp too, rotation big, can switch, can pass enough, needs to add weight hopefully that'd improve vertical too)

If you can get 3 out of these 6, that's a phenomenal draft, phenomenal

Everybody else would/should be available later on but some others that I also like are and could be there with your late 2nd are

Cody Martin
Ignas Brazdeikis
Yovel Zoosman
Zylan Cheatham
Dedric Lawson
Didi Louzada
Charles Matthews
Dean Wade
Justin Robinson

i love tankathon.com's latest draft for us:
thybulle 24, okeke 33, gafford 34
they have almost all my desired guys between 24 and 41:
thybulle 24, bazely 25, fernando 28, claxton 29, okpala 32, okeke 33, gafford 34, ponds 41
dedric lawson, undrafted?
i wonder if 33 and 34 can get 21 from okc or 25 from portland (luxury tax teams)

i've decided not to pout if we take cameron johnson, because he is significantly more agile than mike muscala, combined with both teams in the finals this year essentially playing zone defense.

This has to be the most wide open draft since 2013. I have no idea who anyone is picking after 3.

Would one particular GM know of 16 draft picks that are in play? That's a lot of permutations and combinations to work through on draft night.

Garland, yes. White... I don't see it. Isn't a PG. Will be a liability against SGs. A good 3rd guard, IMO.

For me, White projects pretty easily into an eventual 20 point scorer. Can seamlessly play on and off the ball. Also, I think his passing is fine (24% assist rate).

Can't you see him slaying it in he playoffs? That's my wholefocus. Multilevel scorers that actually matter in real games. I think White is one of those guys.

I don't think being able to run a team even matters anymore.

Playoff basketball is about having a bunch of scorers that can take turns playing on and off the ball with each other.

White is the embodiment of what you look for in a scorer in the pkayoffs. Can score from every level and is a strong spot up shooter to space the floor for other stars.

Great point he would be perfect playing next to Ben Simmons.

Hoping this is just mock draft group think around a team that no one has intel on. As the draft gets close the people that do these mocks don’t want to do worse than their peers, so best to just fall in line if you don’t know.

Happens a lot in political polling close to elections too. Don’t want to be the one outlier that’s wrong.

FWIW, I heard he had a really good workout with us and dominated. Meh

I'm not convinced he's definitely going to be a great shooter. His form doesn't look great, and I'm not sure how his body will fill out to take the physicality of the NBA. He seems a safe bet to be a decent bench scorer but I could easily see NBA size stifling his game at the next level.
