I’m hoping Goga is available at 14 and we draft him.

Reload or ddb, any idea who Celtics are targeting?

Hoping for Bol Bol, Nassir, Langford, or Herro!

I can bet there are people who could do a better job at drafting than Celtics FO by watching just 10 minutes of highlights.
I think this whole draft process has become so overcomplicated that lot FOs simply overthink everything.

Agreed. I don't even see the point of drafting safe anymore. Putting 4 years into someone who would never sniff the floor on as a starter on a championship caliber team seems just seems like a complete waste...hello Kelly Olynyk. Those guys are a dime a dozen in free agency and always available for peanuts in trades.

I'll take the upside with all the risk and character concerns that comes along with extreme upside outside of the top 5. I rather hit on 1 out of 10 outlier talents with major risk than 10 out of 15 safe role players that never move the needle. Especially when you have a GM that has job security and doesn't need to play it safe with instant results.

With that in mind give me Bol Bol Bol, Kevin Porter Jr., Darius Bazely, and Jalen Leque all day long. If Bol breaks his back,Kevin Porter Jr. punches Hayward on the bench, and Leque never hits a jumper then so be it...at least we won't be haunted by Olynyk over Giannis EVER AGAIN!

KO makes a lot of sense but just for teams like last years Warriors/Bucks/Raptors/Houston/Philly. Teams legitimately thinking right or wrong that they have a chance to win it all.

At the start of a rebuild, I would not prioritize low upside/bench players on a championship team.

Someone convince me that Herro is a reasonable pick at #14. I can't see it. His defensive potential is low. His wingspan and athleticism limit his ability on both ends. His one big selling point is his shooting, but 35% from three in college isn't overly impressive. His ceiling is that of a bench player. Seems like a waste at #14. Decent floor/low ceiling pick.

I can see drafting for solid bench players if you have the picks and you're a contending team, because those picks give you value for lower cost than a vet. But it seems to me that the Celtics are going into a rebuilding phase, or maybe mini-rebuild, and I agree on swinging for the fences on two of those picks if you keep 'em. But on the other hand the team still needs to watch out for bringing on too much immaturity and entitlement that you can get from some of these prima donna types. It's a tough balance, but I hope we can at least land one kid with some star potential in this draft since there's 3 picks to work with.

Same. Not sure why Shams and Woj can't wait to release the picks after they happen on TV...

How the **** does Blakely still have a job as a Celtics reporter? He is such a freaking tool and has no respect and has never broken any news that any of us on here already knew.

I'm not sure it's a good trade 4 for 8+17.

Maybe next year, we should get a group of our best posters/insiders and do a webcast of some sort to offset the pathetic regurgitate what people read online. Because of all of you, I feel I am 10 steps ahead of anything on TV. It's like me to them, "shut the **** up!"

Idk, if the Knicks swerve and don't take Barrett, I'm all in on Jaylen for 5/Thompson or even 5/Love..
