I don’t understand New Orleans mentality here. Remember way back when .... you know last week.... when the Lakers getting #4 was key to Davis trade? I know Draft is weak but Garland has real value and they just took 3 bad picks in a bad draft for him. Trading down pretty much never works in NBA. And the talking heads are praising Griffin.....insane.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Really surprised they want Hunter over Culver - who's probably going to CHI now, or sliding to the 8 or 10..

Don't know what the other offers were.. and depending on who they get at 8, 17 and 35, could be a great deal.

Guarantee at least 5 teams in the top 8 screw this draft up for themselves.

Blakely "you want to come out of this draft with one player who can help you and contribute." WTF are you talking about? No freaking ****!!! Thanks for that great input. I was hoping the Celtics would get at least one player who won't do **** for the team. Such sad reporting.

Don't trade 20/22 for LaMarcus Aldridge

Blakely, "I think he has the ability to put the ball on the floor." My 5 year old son can do that! What kind of lame ass analysis is that?

Quality over quantity.

If you can get a similar-tiered guy at 8 and get more picks out of #4, why not do it?
Are we even sure the guy at #4 will turn out better than the guy at #8.
More bites at the apple in a flat draft seems sensible.

Surprised nobody has posted about Saric and 11 to PHX for 6. Moving up for Garland?

I love both Griffin's trades tbh. Pelicans are now in an amazing position to build a much better team than they ever had around either CP3 or Davis. He should trade away Holiday next.

Better for NO to get something for an expiring asset (AD) then sit on their hands and have assets leave for nothing in return (Irving and Horford).

Yeah, I get that, just in general people celebrating Griffin's assets are touting quantity, not quality.

Other than Ingram, who is a serious question mark with his health issues, they don't have any single asset to get excited over.

Also, any chance people can actually edit posts that have multiple tweets, posts or whatever so it makes the thread easier to read? It's not that difficult.
