I'm not that high on him and he'd be a hell of a lot better to have than Iwundu imo.

It’s possible he’s better than Wes but still just a safe vanilla pick. Herro is more exciting imo.
Yeah we need another great shooter that shoots 30% on 3pt shots.

Herro or NAW? Both are/will be much better shooters than Iwundu.

I'm talking about Herro, didn't he average around 30%. Once in a while you get great shooters like Hezonja who can't do it in games but I didn't like Booker in the draft so I could be wrong.

35% from 3 on decent sized volume. He takes a lot of them off the dribble, not really comparable to Iwundu who gets some great looks because of who he is as a player.

Wes Iwundu is the very definition of average. He’s an effort guy. He’s had some decent games with the Magic, but ideally tonight we should be drafting and trading to find a more talented wing to replace him. Won’t pretend to know much about the prospects we’ll get. I just hope we find a contributor and at best our version of Donovan Mitchell. If we can luck into a star caliber wing, the prospects for this team skyrocket.
You look confused...let me fill you in.

Jon Givony now has The Magic taking Romeo Langford at #16.

There are players from 2 on that might not be that great...this is a draft where some FO's will really shine-I've got my fingers crossed for WeHam...who will be the team(s) that can really determine which players will translate better to the NBA than college and/or which college studs won't fit in NBA game? I don't think we'll be able to determine winners/losers for months (at least). I know that's always true, but more than ever, this is a draft of skilled players more than raw, so results may clarify in rookie year to a greater extent...I'm thinking NAW, but there are a lot of wings I could make a case for...not to mention those versatile bigs (like Hachimura) would be tough to pass on as playmaking complements to Bamba, etc down the road. I'd be surprised if I'm disappointed tonight-just because it's far from clear who's where. Just (PLEASE) no raw projects and no one that can't shoot or score outside of the low post. We need shooting, driving, and drawing fouls + defensive length.

So who is your pick?

I'm leaning towards NAW. I like those long, versatile, maybe deceptively agile guys - like his cousin.

I believe, we are leaning towards NAW if he is there based on Weltman's choice of words leading towards the draft. At 16 there are a lot of ways we could go and I would be ok with it. I am just hoping that we don't see a typical Magic move and are left with a wtf after the pick is called.
