If we're keeping the pick, would like for us to draft Kevin Porter, Jr.

He's a unique talent, albeit raw. But with our history of player development, I think we can bring him along pretty well.

How about just Domas for #6, and then taking whichever one of Hunter, Culver, or Garland who is available at #6?

Minnesota already traded up to 6 from 11 with Saric to target a guard. Chicago at 7, probably not a target as they have Lauri/Carter. New Orleans at 8, now? Dom straight up for 8? With word that 1 is Zion, 2 is Morant, 3 is Barrett, 4 is Hunter, and 5 is Garland, that leaves Culver, Coby White, Reddish, Clarke, Sekou, etc, there. Is Culver or Clarke worth swapping Dom? Would New Orleans do that? Hard to say on both...

Maybe Domas + 32 + 50 for 8 + 17 and take whichever one of Culver, White, or Reddish at #8

And then package 17+18 to trade up a few spots for Hachimura to replace Domas

I mean, if anybody is going to make 15 moves up and down the draft board, we got the guy in Pritchard. Portland Pritchard averaged a ton of moves every draft night. He even worked deals in a draft hours after he had been fired by Portland for them!

I don't. I don't think Pritchard or McMillan want to trade him either.

Not terribly so. Already gonna be a lot of movement on the roster this season. I think I'd rather hold a year if I can. Maybe even deadline.

I'm just curious about the logic behind such a move. If they want to do a rebuild then they should just blow it up completely, meaning trading Oladipo for some good picks or young assets as well. Replacing Domas with some 19 year old who might bust, or will only be able to contribute in a few years when Dipo is 30+? Timelines don't match at all. Like I said, I don't get it, unless the goal is being a 1st round exit treadmill team. But I think Pritchard is better than that.

I don't want to trade Domas, but I also see the logic behind doing so

First and most obvious reason is it saves us the trouble of figuring out how to play Myles and Domas together

But beyond that, Domas is due for a big extension - by turning Domas into another blue chip rookie, it in a way allows the team to go after a max contract FA without having to worry about extending Domas

Oh, about dealing Domas? I think it's only a consideration if you think Myles and Dom can't play together. Myles has kept growing his game, developed range, a pick and pop, and a game changing defensive presence. Plus, Myles is already locked in so affordably long-term. I think Dom is better than any individual player available in the 4-8 range, but maybe not the best fit, position wise?

If Dom would agree to a similar extension as Myles, I think we could keep both and just have the absolute best center rotation in a long, long time in the NBA.

I had a feeling it is going to be a big but I did not expect Bitadze that much. I never really liked Kevin Porter. Cheers!
