Me Last Year: "Wow I can't believe the Hornets picked Bridges. He will be too slow to guard a 3 and to small to guard a 4. They can't pick this poorly again"

This year: "The Charlotte Hornets pick Miles Bridges 2: Electric Bungaloo!"
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

Good next year replacement for Marv.

Seems like a solid safe pick.

Welcome P.J.!!!

Washington shot 42% from 3 last year. Has a massive wingspan. Is an elite rebounder. Great pick.

On a side note the Bridges comparison is totally wrong.

Agreed.

And having two multifaceted dudes who play with some grunt and on both sides of the ball at the SF and PF positions can’t be a bad thing.

Can it?

Slightly undersized, decent shooting PF. Sounds like Marvs replacement. If he can hit open jumpers and defend I'll be happy.

Yeah Washington checks all the boxes. He actually has the wingspan to play small ball five.

Seems to be good on offense, has some post skills. if he can be a better Marvin, thats a good late-lottery pick.

I'm ok with the pick, had he had an amazing tournament we wouldn't have had this chance.

You mean a bunch of long, strong, switchable athletes who can play defense, spread the floor, crash the boards, and run in transition.

AKA welcome to the NBA in 2019

Who were you hoping they'd pick instead of PJ?

This is both a safe and high upside pick. Kids coming out as sophomores these days are relatively not this skilled.

Love the pick, was my number 1 guy to be honest. Great fit next to Miles, have our forwards of the future. Just need to get a shooting guard now.

I think it’s a good pick
Very happy with it as I look at the fit
If we are signing Kemba for big $, a tough , long armed, good shooter and solid defender at PF/C is a nice selection

Bridges is solid too
Were headed in the right direction if we can keep Kemba and add a big later
