It feels like we have like 9 mediocre front court men on our roster...

Kemba
Lamb
Bridges
PJ
Cody

not bad now we need to add somemore depth with our 2nd round picks and we had another solid draft would be 2 for 2 for Mitch.

I personally don't see how people view him as safe or boring. He's a PF who shot over 42% from deep, has the ability to score from every level of the floor, and has the physical profile to compete day 1 in the league. His ceiling is every bit as high as the other guys in this range. I mean ****, the Heat just took Tyler Herro for Pat's sake!

At least P.J. can spread the floor. Seems like a young version of Marv, which isn’t a bad thing.

They were saying in the pre-draft show that P.J. is the angriest (plays nasty - in a good way) player in the draft.

I like that. We need some sand paper.

Apparently he was hurt before their last tourney game and instead of sitting out he played and told the guys to feed him the rock because he was hungry

Ended up putting up 28/13 against Auburn in the Elite 8.

He also showed serious improvement from his Freshman to Sophomore years, which in my opinion bodes VERY well for his ceiling. I think he still has a lot of improvement left

He has some intriguing qualities. People shouldn't be comparing him to Miles. Hes got like 6+ inches in wingspan on Miles and can probably plays lots of small ball center.

Mitch hit last year with his picks and I trust he got this right too
7’3” wingspan, shoots well, plays D, good attitude, can switch
Hope we can get a decent to good big next

And he's huge compared to a guy like Clarke, who is dropping out of the lottery for some crazy reason despite people clamoring about him.

He's a great fit with Kemba as a pick and pop big who can rim run a little bit as well.

Adding a super athletic center like Bruno will give us an intriguing young lineup

I don’t compare him to Miles
He can play with Miles though
Very switchable
Both tough with good Muscle
Both shoot well for forwards
Both can and do get in the paint
Gives us another finisher and floor spacer
Pretty happy with this pick

I sure hope he is able to switch around, cause if he isn't, then he won't be able to play with Miles. Miles is way to slow laterally to be able to switch onto 1-3

current depth chart assuming only Kemba is resigned of all our free agents

Kemba/Graham
Bacon/Monk
Miles/MKG/Batum
Marv/PJ
Cody/Biz/WHG

Need a backup PG (I'm praying so hard for Rubio ya'll have no idea)
Need a C (should be some solid options later in the draft and you know Borrego will be playing PJ at center a lot)

I'd try like hell to trade back into the 1st for Goga Bitazde and sign Rubio with the MLE.

Kemba/Rubio/Graham
Bacon/Monk
Miles/MKG/Batum
Marv/PJ
Cody/Goga/Biz/WHG

I was worried about Miles lateral quickness coming in, but after last season I don't think its an issue. Its not great, but he had some nice flashes when getting switched onto quicker players or even just being intentionally matched with them by Borrego later on in the season as his defense improved.

Miles - P.J. - Bruno

would be a fantastic, young, aggressive, well sized, good BBIQ front court IMO.

3 dudes who’d compliment each other as well.

We’d just need a gunner at the SG spot and we could make some noise.

Goga and Bruno would both be very fun picks if they can trade back into the first. I'd put both seconds together for Baynes and one of the Celtics picks.

I think people criminally underrate the defence of Miles.

I don’t get it.

I wonder what this means for MKG? You would initially think hed be the odd man out, but I still would play him over Batum and having a guy like PJ on the 2nd unit who can protect the rim and provide toughness inside would free up MKG to be used to hound other teams perimeter scorers, which is his best skill, instead of forcing him to basically be a one man team defense.

Id probably throw in Clevelands 2nd that we own next season to get Goga at this point. 36 + 52 + 2020 2nd (CLE) for another late 1st this year.

Lavine?

Can score at all 3 levels. Can create his own offence. Can pass the rock.

Ya, he’d work.

(Although he seems like a bit of a meat head).

Someone like Booker or Dipo would be ideal.

PJ will start over Marvin by the all star break. Already a better rebounder. Id give man to man defense to Marvin which will be why he starts. For now. Bridges and Washington together is extremely exciting to me.
