Wayne Ellington costs like 5-6 millions per year, why spend lottery pick

Not justifying the pick. Just saying how he’ll be used. But I think Herro is more athletic than Ellington and I think he’ll do more inside the 3 point arc.

Miami trade a shooter in Ellington and a first name Tyler at the deadline. Now, the Heat draft Tyler Herro. Is he a combination of the two? :lol:

Without a doubt Herro has the offense, but what about defense where the Heat takes pride. Is he a culture fit?
I though this kind of talent is within reach via free agency like when Miami acquire Ellington.

I'm just saying. You are judging Herro on his wing span and I gave you his ultimate comparable. Reddick has been in this league for a long time doing what he does well.

Look, I’m not doubting Herro can shoot it. He can. But there was just so much on the table here.

His BEST case is JJ Redick. Like, if everything pans out. I get we’ll run the Ray Allen/Wayne Ellington sets for him, but it’s a disappointing pick all things considered.

They could have picked Admiral in the second round for shooting, you don't spend a lottery pick on a one dimensional under 6-4 croco arms player, you still have no Small forward and no Power forward...this front office is (Please Use More Appropriate Word)...
