It's the bucks first rounder... Is that amounting to anything before 25th pick? Really?

Ok. But the ringer had him ranked 8th and I saw at least one other that had him ranked in the 10 ten. He was one of the 5 finalists for national player of the year along with Zion, Ja Morant, R.J. Barrett, and Cassius Winston.

So you know. Some people see more in him than you do. We'll see how it goes, right?

We will see. We have undersized power forwards on this team.

240, 6' 11" wingspan. Not as heavy as Zion, but taller and just as long.

You realize the shooting guard we drafted is 215 pounds, almost the exact same height, and with a 6'11" wingspan.

Dude if you want to talk him up then do so, but don't ignore his obvious flaws.

He played in the post and passed out of it in college as a playmaker. That worked in college and likely won't work in the NBA. He has trouble with the idea of hitting 3 pointers.

Maybe he works maybe he doesn't but don't just try to ignore his obvious flaws or say that they aren't by comparing him to one of the most athletic freaks the NBA has seen in the draft since LeBron and act like it's reasonable to mention Williams who legit flaw is he might not have the athleticism to play in the NBA. That isn't anything but trying to lie.

He has plenty of positives, try to talk about them. His flaws are real, they're glaring, and rather obvious.

Ainge is going to be ruled mentally-incompetent?

Maybe Danny Ainge will also have that happen to him?

Clear cap space this year by doing so and move down 1 spot next year. How is that a bad trade?

Better be a big man. We've got no size at all now. Horford gone, Baynes gone, Morris gone. Gonna start Semi and Timelord at this rate.

I have a feeling Ainge is gonna trade for CP3 & get a bunch of unprotected picks to absorb the albatross contract

Yah but were trying to suck. Usually you play your lotto picks when you try to suck.

Honestly not sure anymore. The east is wide open next season.

We get a quality PG and maybe Ainge gets a significant FA and we can still be in the playoffs. Not out of the question

I really wish I could virtually slap some of you wankers.

Celtics obviously didn't wanna add 3 1st round picks this season. There was talk about stashing one player. Instead, they traded down from #20 to #24, picked up a good 2nd (#33). Then used that pick to clear $5.4m and got a future late 1st. So not only did they moved one 1st to next season, they cleared cap space. Tell me again how clueless Ainge is.

Don't know. Check the Baynes thread. Was a rumor we take a veteran for compensation, seems unlikely now. Maybe targeting a 2nd tier player.

Grant Williams, if he’s not swallowed up by NBA athletes, is in some ways really really skilled - I don’t know how well he’ll be able to rebound, and his perimeter defense and three point shooting are works in progress - but he’s the guy in the draft who seems most likely to outplay his physical limits.. He’s a very good passer, makes sharp reads, is very composed with the ball, even against longer defenders.. could be interesting.

Durant, Walker, Kawhi, Russell, Boogie, Klay, Lopez, Butler, Harris, et al. are all FA. Not saying I want each and every guy or that any would come to Boston, but you have to leave open the option.
