Danny has now passed on the following players four times: Bol, Roby, McDaniels, Reid, and Gafford. This is worse than the all-time worst (at least up till that time) 2016 draft. I've always been alone thinking he's a terrible drafter but please tell me people see that now? It's frightening how bad he is. He's set this franchise back 5-7 years. We had a chance to take high upside guys who in 2-3 years would be ready to help us contend. Instead, he's chosen to take high floor guys and keep being pretenders. We're screwed folks. You can't come back from this type of damage when you do this in multiple drafts. It's okay to miss on late picks but when afforded the opportunity to take lottery talent because every other G.M. literally lost their minds, you have to jump on it, not join the crowd. Unbelievable.

Really not thinking they are looking to go full rebuild. Our team is too talented as is for that. They will go youth but no trash contracts imo

Bol Bol is still available right now.

That should tell you something. No team wants him.

I don’t get the Williams pick. Decent passer. Can score in the post. Nice touch on his jumpers. Can rebound. Have good hands defensively. But 6’7 PF. Low risk low reward player.

If there i someone that watched Williams I would love their comments on him.

We almost had Langford, Clarke, and Edwards.

Even as someone who came in wanting only bigs THAT'D be a draft I could ****

Yes! For sure. I would have loved Clarke instead of Williams. Hope Williams proves us wrong but Clarke is an elite athlete. I watched Gonzaga and Duke the most this year more than any team. Clarke stood out in the Gonzaga games along with Hachimura, of course.

Are any of those guys any good? Every other teams has passed on them too.

I think most teams draft poorly. Denver is an exception, San Antonio too. But it's all skewed, a lucky pick or two and you look like a genius. I'm generally happy with the Celtics drafts.

How is Bol Bol still on the board?

Ainge has a deal lined up and he doesn't want cap holds. That's the only way to explain this fiasco. Romeo Langford? Awful.

Wish I'd seen more of him too. Thought he was a reach, but might be a Paul Milsap type, best case scenario?

Think Millsap has a 7’2” wingspan.. won’t match that.

Has gotten some Jae Crowder, PJ Tucker comparisons, size of a three, strength of a four.. like Crowder, needs to develop a perimeter shot - but his high post skill is almost special - very very smart player.

So were officially in a rebuild.

Celtics will do something. They have cap space. They won’t next year if Jaylen Brown gets extended. June 30th will be interesting

He's 8 feet tall, played 9 college games before getting injured. Screams what-if. I'll take him at 51 though.
