Don’t try too hard to understand it - Weltman said they were drafting BPA over positional fit.

How much cap space do the Celtics have? I think the Lakers have ~$24 mil after the AD trade.

Cray. They'd both have the space to make him a competitive offer, too.

Magic have 10 guaranteed deals and some free agents they want to resign. They also might want to bring in a new player or two. No room on 15 man roster for #46.

you sure they want to?

Well, even if Nikola Vucevic and Terrence Ross don't return, I think they are interested in bringing back at least Khem Birch and Michael Carter Williams.

Lakers would be stupid and use all of their cap space on Vuc when they need to build an entire team. Celtics make a ton of sense.

Looks like the Celtics have even less to offer unless they can trade a player or two.

I would say it’s safe to say that Vuc will be back if that’s his market range.

Depends on what offers are out there, I guess? If everyone is offering something from $17-20M, then he can decide if he wants to contend, be on a proven winning team, or come back to Orlando.

If Lakers only spend $17-20M on Vuc, they'll have space for ring chasing vets who are prepared to take cheap deals.

Celtics can’t get to 35 ish by renouncing Rozier. Since they just drafted 2 guards they’re now set and could easily do that. HUGE HOLE AT C now

Celtics depth:
Smart/Carsen
Jaylen/Romeo
Tatum/Semi
Hayward/Grant
Theis/FA
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

Me too.

Could be a potential player for Lakeland.
