Yes we need more guards and people who want to shoot a lot!

Fwiw, there’s no reason to take a big if you don’t think they’re any good.. and there are going to be a lot of players on the trade market and in free agency..

I’m just uncertain about chemistry issues.. like, should we trade Hayward? Do we need to trade Jaylen, because he’s too entitled? How is he going to react to a healthier Hayward or a more skilled Langford?

So the C's nab two of the three shortest players at the combine:

Edwards at 5'10.5" and Waters at a combine-shortest 5'9.5":

https://stats.nba.com/draft/combine-anthro/#!?sort=HEIGHT_WO_SHOES&dir=1&SeasonYear=2019-2019

Waters also with the shortest wingspan, at 6'2.25".

We better sign louis king. And Porter and Naz Reid. I dont see why they go undrafted and we pick multiple dudes smaller than me (a fairly average sized out of shape dude).

I'm not sure why everyone is upset with the two guards. Our guards sucked. We had two ego maniacs that could care less if we won. Both with the attitudes " I gotta get mines" !!
The two new guys will be exciting to watch. We at least have someone that can shoot the ball.

PS I don't care about the reps on TR and KI they both were major contributors to our horrible season. The new guy can't be any worse than the garage we had a PG.

Well there's an all-star center we've been linked to who makes a ton of sense.
I've suggested trading Hayward (and whatever else needed) for Blake Griffin.

And then just like that we've got the perfect draft:)

Smart/Edwards
Jaylen/Romeo
Tatum/Semi
Griffin/New Williams
Vuc/Old Williams

They will probably sign 2 or 3 guys to play PF and C. Can still sign Theis for cheap. Thomas Robinson played for us last year and cpuld get in..Williams ofc as you mentioned. It's still very early.

Smart/Edwards
Brown/Langford
Hayward/Semi
Tatum/Theis
Vuc, Capela, Adams/ Williams

I mean..Brad has done crazy things with a lot less. It's sad that we fell out of contention so quickly..but if we can get a break out year from JB or JT and 2nd tier All Star play from Hayward and a guy like Vucevic..you can do some damage.

I think our starting 5 will be very, very competitive..
WHAT THEY GON’ SAY NOW? ‎ THANK YOU TRUTH!

Time Lord is the only guy on our roster now who is over 6’9.

Who is going to guard Embiid and Giannis?

Ok, but Kyrie was our best and most consistent scorer and he’s gone.. Brown and Tatum may want shots, but they’re not remotely ready to carry an offense.. Vucevic is - Russell is closer than both -

Let Hayward build up his value and then see what his value is

Nostalgic for IT I am pretty sure.

Both these cats are interesting players but I’d be surprised if either plays more than 500 NBA minutes ever. That’s cool. It’s the second round. Take a shot on the dark.

Not at all. Some of those cap scape will be sent on a center. Capela trade might still happen. Vuc has been mentioned her and there for months. The guy was a 21 and 11 and good passing and improved defense. Other centers will be available.

Danny and Wyc will want to be competitive. I didn’t understand dumping Baynes but that tells me even more than we are clearing cap space for a center that Boston has their eyes on.

You would think it should be obvious to everyone.

To be honest not sure it matters. With Horford and Irivng gone we are a lottery team.
