Even if it is not Keldon there is a lot of talent at 30.

Bol Bol

How about that Pistons GM.

Plus KZ is there as well.

The Suns are looking to go after somebody in FA, preferably a PG this off season.

I thought Tyler Johnson was there new PG?

No. TJ is a SG trap in a PG's body. Plus the guy is not a solid play maker. I'm looking for the Suns to go after Ricky Rubio and and a couple of more vets to help balance out the Suns unstable roster. Those young guns need plenty of guidance in the worst way.

And this trade just got so much worse. 30th OA for four future second rounders and Cash for Gores pocket.

Took on an additional $14 mil while sacrificing precious cap 2020 cap flexibility for a very low level player and four 2nds that very well could end up amounting to bupkis.

What a disgusting trade. Detroit could have bought 2nd rounders outright for cash.

Starting to look like lining Gores pockets with cash is more important than winning.

This trade is really going to hurt when we can't use our full MLE and resign Ish Smith because of luxury tax concerns.

I’ll admit I never like seeing cash coming our way in a trade. It implies the trade isn’t good from a basketball standpoint.

30th and 45th for 37th, 2023 and 2024 2nd rounders and cash.

No sir, I don’t like it. Makes it seem like Snell was the major part of the deal for us and they needed to squeeze some money out of it to make Gores go for it. And I wouldn’t mind that if the money helped our cap. It doesn’t.

Yeah, that thought recently crossed my mind as well. If Snell is the kind of player they are valuing/targeting its very concerning. Considering his contract, its downright scary.

We know what the odds are on signing an impact max level FA. But there’s a chance we could have been an interesting spot if Blake continued his evolution, Dre ever fully figured it out and Sekou and Kennard hit. We punted on that possibility for 2 future 2nd rounders, some cash and moving from 45 to 37.

No wonder Philly’s owners were ready to go “process” after Stefanski.

They really, really didn't want to miss out on Deividas Sirvydis.... Part of me wonders if they were considering taking him at #30. The only way this move ends out working out well for us is if he ends up being a quality player.... Even if he does, there is still a decent chance he could have fallen to #45 and we didn't need to use those picks to move up.

Probably. One of the beat writers said Stefanski was back trying to get back in at #32 and every team that picked until Dallas finally accepted at #37.

Supposedly we also had promised to take him at #45 to keep him in the draft, but then worried he'd be gone.

There's a good chance, he never even makes it to the states. Even if he does, he has the same probability of being highly unlikely to ever be a solid NBA player that most 2nd round picks do.

With how cheap TJ Warren was had for on draft night, we really messed up

Warren is paid almost the same as Snell and is a MUCH better player

The fact we moved that pick for four seconds makes it even worse

Unfortunately Detroit didn't have the pure cap space or trade exception to take on Warren like Indiana did. It was impossible for the Pistons to give the Suns what they wanted, immediate cap space. Why Phoenix wants that instead of Warren is an interesting discussion but I guess they think they're doing something with it.
