Why do I feel like Riley's trying to torture me with words.

Re: 2019 NBA Draft 2.0 - I can be your Herro baby
We had a chance to get Sekou and Bol, instead it feels like an empty draft of role players...and Riley reafirm stuborness to play has been like JJ and Goran, and other old player that got fat after being paid like whitside waiters and co...
This team is in Shamble, I think Riley retire at the end of the year...

Re: 2019 NBA Draft 2.0 - I can be your Herro baby
1. I'm not happy about Tyler Herro at #13 with better prospects available, but I understand we need shooting and Herro, even if he cannot guard a lamppost, will bring us points, a lot like Wayne Ellington, who can shoot 3's on the move and was traded last season for next to nothing. Wayne's trade improved the Pistons and diminished our season (though in truth Ellington was out of rotation entirely for most of the season, another basketball mystery care of our front office and coaching staff.) In any case, though, Tyler Herro should be a contributor and solves an important problem. Maybe he can even teach some of the other clowns in our parade how to shoot a free throw. Imagine that.
2. The pick of KZ Okpala was brilliant at #32. I think the kid has lottery talent but he is very, very raw. Still, though, he has physical gifts, decent shooting, nice slashing, great defensive potential. I had him slipping into the mid teens. Picking him at #32 is a gift, pure and simple. This changed how I viewed the draft.
And then...
3. We drafted Bol Bol. I became elated. I mean, you could have scraped me off the ceiling. I was ashamed for doubting the FO strategy. How did they know this would happen? Miracle, right? I had Bol Bol and Goga in my second tier.
And then they traded Bol Bol to Denver for cash considerations and a future second. A future second of Denver with MPJ, Bol Bol, Nikola Jokic, and the rest is going to be in the 50s. From an accounting perspective we traded to get the #44 and then traded it away for a future second that will not be very valuable. This is badly done.
I am very disillusioned. When you cheer for a team whose legend leaves, other link to the past (UD) is pretty finished too, and the only other identifiable figure is the team's icon GM, who seems to be obsessed with being loyal to Hassan Whiteside and the memory of Tyler Johnson and willing to toss one of our only chances to get a player who (though he might fail) had the possibility of being a true difference maker... maybe I am the problem. I am failing the faith vs reason test. Right?
Fans are just supposed to shut up and take the front office decisions, abide by their choices, clap when we're supposed to, and not complain. Or we're not true fans. Right? That's what I'm getting from the thread. I applaud those of you who have that faith. It's a wonder you can maintain it after a night like this one.

The front office has lost the fanbase. You can't sell people on anything without the eventual results. If we were a consistent playoff team and contender, people would question things but we would give the benefit of the doubt. That benefit we used to give Pat is gone. It's going to be like this all year on every social media post unfortunately.
