It can't be overstated how great of a support system RJ has.

It might take some time until RJ becomes a winning player in the league, but I trust he will put in the work. His father will not allow him to ruin his own career, although there's nothing you can do about lack of motivation. Doesn't seem like it's going to be a problem with RJ though.

I don't think RJ will be the savior of the franchise. It's still a process. I think he's a #6 pick in a better draft. I'm happy we got him though. We'll need another tank year or two to get some other guys around him. And I'm happy he wants to be here, and for the first time (I'm not joking), I heard 100% cheers from the fans. Do we finally have our golden boy?

As far as Zion, I don't think he would have been the savior either. I had some concerns about his weight and injury issues. With that physique and athleticism, he could take the NBA by storm and be something the league has never seen. Or there's a chance it could be a story of what could have been. Don't get me wrong, I would have taken him at #1 lol. I'm just saying there was concerns with him too.

I hope we also get the Gatorade Player of the Year that came after RJ Barrett.

Even getting someone as good as Melo was his first 3 years is a good draft pick, even with the many flaws.

He should lose all his credibility after his Kawhi fiasco. He's done so many mental gymnastics to not give Kawhi any credit for proving him wrong. Skip just looks extremely un-professional by continuously harping on the fact that Kawhi left his Spurs.
