I would think our front office probably asked Vince if he wanted to be traded at the deadline to a contender.
Not ring chasing seems to be true. It's been a pleasure having him part of our team this year. While we probably use his roster spot on someone else next season I hope he becomes a familiar face with the team once he retires.

Yeah, that's true, Liver.

I think, though, there's a viable discussion about releasing Crabbe and, because Uncle Vince will cost you next-to-nothing anyhow, bringing him back... in the end, I can imagine agreement in Hawks HQ that Uncle Vince's overall value to the 2019-20 roster, including intangibles, is predictably greater than what Crabbe can bring.

Problem is that Vince wants to play and it doesn't appear to be any minutes for Vince on this team.

I don't think Vince is going to find many contending teams looking to him to fill significant roles on their roster.

And of the non-contenders, I have to think we have a leg-up by virtue of all of the good vibes from last season. Would surprise almost no one if Pierce/Schlenk were to offer him a formal player-coach role.

Buyout of Crabbe, a waived of Hill (or buyout) - 2 spots available.
Edit: Adams cut or back to GL - 3 spots available.

15 roster slots, 5 positions, 3 at each is the normal equation. Granted, it sometimes doesn't go that way.

Regarding Anderson, from what I understand, ATL has until June 29 to offer him a $3.6m qualifying offer or not. If they do, then he becomes an RFA with us getting right of first refusal of course if anyone wanted to offer him more.

Seems doubtful to me, anyhow, that that's QO is going to happen.
